Rainbow riches
what do you guys think of this. seems pretty shite to me but what do you guys think.
I've got involved in this a couple of times and I have to say it seems a bit more generous than it's predecessors.
Altho having said that a few people thought elvis/5 liner weren't to bad until they got caught out on them badly!!
Pretty hopeless but I'll get involved in one that's showing.
Much better stuff around tho.

From my experience it's a very poor machine. If you see someone lose £200 with very little return, chances are it might be worth a push, or if you hear some serious clunking over the back, maybe go for it, if nowt better to play such as those new Darts electros that are the best electros bar none. Ask Richard what he thinks of those new darts electros lol. Otherwise, taking it on blind, well, definitely a matter of referral to Captain Disicpline.

Very poor machine. Just feels like you are never going to get to the top. Played one today that cost about £130 for the first top which gave 70.
Played it back through a couple more times with the machine taking back the 70 plus a fair bit more each time. Ended up putting £260 in for £130 out. 2 70 tops coming close to each other in the end.

Well its in a good location and should get a lot of casual play. Should be a lot to offer from it. There's nothing untoward on the machine itself, with just a straight forward force for the top.
The idea of giving it a try was suggested, so thats what we did. If I had any idea that there might be some sort of rip on it, then I would never have agreed to force it.

This is my 1st post, so sorry if I'm ignorant, but doesn't Rainbow Riches hail from Barcrest, the big brother company of Red?
My understanding is that Rainbow Riches is a semi-clone of Mazooma's "Road To Riches". You hi-lo yourself up the cash ladder until you hit a car (or a 'pot' in Rainbow's case), then exchange it for the board. The same rules apply - 2 cars = 2 feature knockouts, 3 cars = 3 feature knockouts. If this is the machine in question, then I think that the gameplay is okay, not brilliant. In terms of presentation, I think it is one of the nicer-presented machines, glass, cabinet, sound package etc. When I played it, I just kept recycling £8 wins and was £20 down after half an hour.
