hi, i'm no techy, but the first thing i would check is see iff the reel spins freely with the power off, there may be something catching on the reel preventing it from spinning.
insert 20p to play

the first thing i'd check is : are the connectors all seated correcly on the mpu and reels
if that is fine change over reels 1 and 2 power on the machine and does the fault come up the same if so its a problem with your mpu if the fault have changed to 21 reel 2 error then the fault lies in that reel

thanks john-disco

have tried what you suggested have swapped the leads and still getting the same error code so i assume that the error is in the board also it has a flashing green light on the board does this mean anything.

anyone know where i can get a replacement and how much are these

did you swap the leads at the reels only? if so, swap 1 and 2 at the board if it has seperate plugs, this will prove if the loom itself is faulty

also have you tried starting it with the top door open? could be lamp mask/loom snagging the reel
