roller coaster 70
you can sort of see their argument, if the cash stack went to 70, and the top was gauranteed 70, it'd end up never ever offering you test of strength(or slipping on JP which would be even more annoying) or nemesis. And at the top it'd end up being like the old donkey kong where about 90% of boards that got that far just died on the last square. As soon as you get past £3 or whatever, it will just stick you on useless squares till you die.
I think they were fucked either way tbh, as i do think the max gauranteed prize being less than half the JP is an absolute joke... they might as well have just made the top prize £25 and made it a £25JP, would've made more sense, and possible made it dual stake/JP whatever so anyone wanting it to play like shit can do so.

They have no argument, they release a trail to end machine where the end is half the pot, no matter what, you think that something at the end of of a tall ladder has to be the best prize, you've fought your way to get there and you get something that you didn't want, i defy anyone who didn't try to force a double deal that stacked to 40 first board last summer, which then cost them another ton for mega, to not have damaged knuckles if it did a 35/40 streak?

Oh don't I know this! I went on a Snakes with a £10 Jackpot and it didn't go for that. It even decided to cost 16 plus for a board! Don't really like JPMs after thisMatt Vinyl wrote:^ This.At least if what dr paragon is saying is correct, then you can reach the top in a less than bank breaking amount of money.
Tatty: No mate, the JP was all cash £15, but the top feature would quite often only give you a lower amount than this.![]()

I think I played this version today. Forget the number... 3.04?Dr Paragon wrote:A good discussion. Dr paragon will ask the awp team to try a version with a 70 top on 50p and £1 stakes. Also, as gamblers, it is surprising that none of you like the card gamble... would you prefer no gamble?
Problem being its completely blocked till ur £70+ in from numbering then it does a very unrealistic " GO ALL THE WAY " on feature start....
Come on Dr Paragon is that the best u can do, a bellfruit ripoff.... surely you can allow the top before the value is there then let the game take the money back after!!!

My AWP team assures me that the top is not blocked.
Equally, it does not just "let it through" as soon as it can afford it.
It works the same way as RollerCoaster does. Its all based on chance.
When you are near the end of the trail, regardless of the mood of the machine, there is still a higher chance of landing on the ? than the RollerCoaster square.
That said, there may be some changes in subsequent versions, as they are trialling some minor changes at the moment.

Bollox! It's all rigged
Seriously, if you re-make old games then you're setting yourself up for problems. Given that most people who played the original are now 40 to 50, they probably don't play AWPs any more.
The crux of it is that the UK AWP industry has been ruined by the supposed "trade associations", accountants and greedy operators, all of whom don't know which way up a fruit machine goes.
No-one plays AWPs much anymore - why? Because at £1 a spin and with no legal minimum payout since GA2005, you'd be stupid to.

Yes that happened to me also. When i discussed this with CMR he didn't believe it could happen.Mystery_Plum wrote:Anyone remember that disgusting JPM Snakes and Ladders chip that used to give £4 from the top? It was a £10 all-cash program with a really horrible soft and flat profile, probably for pubs.
Also, there was a nasty £10 Roller coaster chip , where it never gave Skill, Roll up , or any features from TYS upwards. It liked giving JP off last ride.
