I've been finding myself travelling a bit recently to find machines that aren't burnt to pieces but still end up having my best results locally.
I've been to Felixstowe, Ipswich, Clacton and London in the last 2 weeks. 3 of the 4 were solely gambling, and while my stay in London wasn't meant to be, we ended up touring for fruits anyway. Cambridge is dire!! :x :(

19 going 20 mate, played them for around 6 years or so. everywhere will have a spell of shit m/cs such as an abudance of BFGS etc etc. The area where i live and play is experencing this.

And Biggies smalls wanabe, i wasn't moaning just stating! Does no one agree with the state of play at the moment being poorer than say a year/ 6 months ago?

The 'state of play' as you put it, has been pretty poor for years now, if by that you mean multiple machines that can generate a steady, reliable profit without having to resort to precision timing and optimistic forcing in the hope of a roll. Decent methods are equally scarce, when was the last time you actually emptied a machine? I know for me it seems like ages ago.

I actually haven't touched a machine for about 2 months, the minimal profits that are out there these days just don't justify the amount of time & effort involved. Too many 'players' around my neck of the woods, I can't really be bothered scrabbling around for the crumbs.

I'll still be keeping my ear to the ground, but if things stay as they are, my days of playing fruits could well be over....

(hangs up refill key and walks off into the sunset.... )

It's certainly true that if you find a decent location, it doesn't really matter what the machine is.

i do feel the state of play goes down every year (its the greedy arcade owners imo), however it does not effect my winnings. im still making what i used to make, if not more. just gotta shark more :P i remember a couple of years ago being able to put £1 in a £5 JP machine and being guarenteed a board. recently i got stung ina camp £9 for a sniff ova board which killed me first move. :x
if you know your machines well enough there is still a big earner to be made imo, its all about judgment and dicipline.

nothing else to it while playing fruits. Once you've learnt a certain level of knowledge, IE number runners, setups, safe squares and what to do with your red boost, its just a case of your own judgement and "to play or not to play".

Exceptions of mtrs of course, its clearly what u know on them!
