Sorry Mattyb I dont dedicate my life to fruits! I managed to get myself a 1st class degree and I am now reaping the benefits of that by doing a well paid job which I enjoy. I am sure if I had the time you have on your hands, I would manage to elicit good info! Your reply only really backed up my theory about you really!

If you had the time?? Everyone has the same amount of time it is just what you choose to do with it. Kudos to the first btw.

Theres still at least 2 that i know of which arent chipped so dont expect it to be posted up here any time yet, people who are making profit off these arent gonna be so keen to publicise what it is are they, plus if more people know it then more chance of a rechip....

For example, a machine that lets say only gets hit once or twice a week as it is will possibly get left unchipped, but if more people know it and go on the search for them then the machine in my example could end up then getting hit nearly every day once known, then it will deffo get chipped.

I played one recently and although it was a bit of a bitch for a while it then suddenly decided to start playing ball.

Came off £5 up in the end... but I don't think these are as dead a cert as some make out. May just be me though.

Same here. I only played for 2 jackpots about 3 times. They just weren't profitable enough for me. Don't understand how playing them for 3 or more jackpots makes you more profit.

The other machines with the skill feature are better in my opinion.
Agreed, I never touched these much and never went for the rewrap. For one, the extra money is probably a lower hourly rate than being able to play other stuff, and also the mind numbing tedium of these is not my thing.

As for the rechip, agreed it prob needed to be installed but Matt V has the best idea, instead of being a dirty one where it slips, why not just make the thing harder to get to start with??

But then this industry didn't ever really have a moral code, did it?
Bored of the grind.

My thoughts exactly, just make it so it only offers it when its practically jp ready, instead of making it jump off, as that way those that know it could still get a jp off it but without leaving the hideous board costs for the next punter, which i would guess is why they are chipping them as they can be left so dead as they are.

Wonder if Barcrest would be interested in my CV?

"How's that eh, Rodders? Nice little Citroen!"
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
