I'm useless at it too Coiner - I think I've only succeeded it at it once or twice. I suspect that to do well at it, one needs to go for the first refill, although to do that and climb over the second mountain is really tough and is what nearly always kippers me. I suspect one has to skim the second refill (i.e. not go too low to collect it), and start ascending a bit before one moves through to collect the second refill - even then you almost scrape the second mountain in the early stages. This is what I've done on the few occasions I've succeeded anyway. Can anyone else give any views?

Explain, PP.
Not sure what PP's experience was, but I won a £10JP yesterday. It gave me an easy questions bonus, so I played again - thinking a further small win might be on. The non-prize rounds were predictably easy but as soon as I got on to the £1 it started giving me those awful spoilers about Gillingham managers - so I think this can and will shut up shop when it wants to!

Yes, go for the first refill. You need to master the art of just clipping the top of the canister and then immediately ascending.
Have you noticed that when you pick up fuel, the balloon moves down slightly? Presumably this simulates the extra weight taken on - the kind of detail that might make Istenem reach for his kitchenware...
Am I right in assuming this is just a pure test of reflexes? 554m would indicate you pressed jump at 0.103 seconds after the button lit up, not a bad effort. There are twiddly bits such as go faster stripe turbo booster boosts on the roads to add variation.
I haven't got a bloody clue what you're meant to do. I just press the jump button randomly when it gets near the cones and hope for the best!
It did slide the hapless fella over those Zoooooooom >>>>> stripes and back into the air via a handily placed wooden ramp, which accounted for an extra hundred-odd yards.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
Dont press the jump button until you get to the end. When you reach the end of the 'run-up' the motorbike kind of stops and starts tilting with an increasing angle. The angle you then press JUMP at is the 'skill' factor of the game.
Nice touch on the train game of rating you as 'STAFF!' if you go over 30+. Are there any other nice touches like that for good performance on the other bonus games?

Doesn't it look a bit strange to the other punters in the pub? I've found to get 25+ I've had to stand at the side of the machine. Thankfully it doesn't last too long but god knows what my face looks like while I'm doing it!
I tried with my fingernail for a while too.
