Whos in this secret group then?

I wonder what gets talked about in there then, probly matt b saying about 70 cluedos. and gambo asking if you can hit the bonus on amazings as he always hits £20.

:D

JG 'mildly annoyed, egg on face type of edit' Errrr I briefly read your post earlier on my phone and could have sworn it said, Gambo doesn't know you can hit bonus on Amazings. Needless to say, tried something today and landed up with £2, thought you had a neat trick that could save cock ups when pissed, but you were obviously just thinking of an old Mazooma. Grrrrrrr It wasn't too costly.

There's nothing in there. Just people bitching about people on here. By no means worth it.

I always imagine it as full of leather Chesterfields, and men in smoking jackets reading the FT while enjoying a snifter.

In fact I have managed to infiltrate, and took a photo.
See their many publications detailing empties, both old and new.
Note the portrait of Jeff Vickers, to the left of the fireplace.

I think I was invited into VIP a few years back....nothing special just a lot less sillyness than in the main forum.
Anyway as I am not a player just someone that worked in the gaming industry for a long time I soon got removed from VIP :(

My days of playing fruits are pretty much over....the industry is dying on its feet.....and heres why

1) Serious lack of ideas/imagination from games designers, almost every game is a clone of another. The industry would do well to take a look at some of the old slots from the 80s/early 90s in fruit emu...proper fun gameplay, new ideas on every machine, fair playing time/entertainment value for money spent

2) £1 stake/£70 jackpot....this is a disaster....I dont know of any casual players who would pay that much for a game. £20 lasting about 2 minutes. This leaves only addicts and pros left to play them.

3) Arcades just cant compete with FOBTs , people who would have played fruits years ago are now just pumping their money in FOBTs

I can see one of the big manufacturers going bust this year unless it can come up with some fresh ideas

That's my chair in the middle there, so no one get any grand designs about taking a nap there ok?

See the archway behind the bookcase to the right? That's a secret doorway that leads to a tattoo parlour where only Marvel comic book characters are available as tattoo designs.

There is also a whole bookcase devoted to method guesses on Monopoly Hot Propertys.

Pat, number 3 is a valid point. Sooo true.

1) Who can blame then when there is more money to be made from FOBT/B3 sectors?
2) £1/£70 it's not a disaster ffs, it's a good idea, nice proportion and salutations(?) or err congratulations to Barcrest for making the force profile easier. BFG killed the industry somewhat with there stupid anti player, anti force crap. If someone wants to force the jackpot, LET them have the jackpot ffs. If it costs them £300 to get it, they will NEVER play that machine to any lengthy degree EVER again, unless it's Battleaxe.
I've got a £1/£70 Al Murray on 92% and it really does play a decent game, it's VERY popular as well with a couple of hi-techers now sitting on it for practically the whole day. It's a pleasant force and a pleasant short term player, not too 'playery' and there's a £140ish dump in there as well. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win but you feel like you've had value and it's worth playing again.
Nice balance, the boards can cost BUT the regular £10-£20 paybacks show that board cost isn't SUCH an issue if the punter feels like the game is fair. £20 for a board IS an issue when that board is two red hotel, £1 and GAME OVER....that's an issue BFG.
