Space Harrier is correct. But I don't think you sat on a caterpillars back, he was a boss you had to kill at the end of the first level if I remember correctly.

i recently purchased a mame based arcade machine ,,,,,,,, with 3500 games on it , ok if you take off the repeats and revisions ( foreign versions ) etc , its more near the 3000 mark.

for those that dont know mame is a pc based emulator , that anyone can obtain , but then you have to flaff about downloading /unzipping files and , extracting etc for each and every game . its a real time consuming ball ache .

the machine i bought is basically a pentium in a box , purpose built upright arcade machine , with the proper joysticks buttons , coin mech etc.

you simply select the game you want to play , and it loads in about 10 seconds , and there all perfect .

basically it has every arcade game ever made between 1975 and 2003.

well worth the £500 ( delivered ) i paid for it.

got it off ebay , and would highly recommend to any nostalgic arcade fans.

beware though , theres lots of different versions , with some only having as little as 50 odd games on.
Little discipline = BIG issue
