either thick or lazy.

too lazy to do hard graft... its fucking easy to walk to the pub and kane the machine and get a gays wage in a few hours.

but some just use it as a easy way out... i know a few players who have to get someone to text for them coz they cant read and write and playing doesnt need reading so theyre o.k.

i also know people who no fuckall exept fractions... you can guess what they do for a living.
Does a gay get more or less than straight man?

One person gets banned from Thomas Amusments in Hunstanton for being a 'pressure player'. Another person gets banned for being a 'power player'. I wonder whats next on their excuses menu!

Blond curtains man (who used to work on Hunstanton Pier and in Beach Arcade) now works in that Wells Cafe Amusements. He once banned me for being an '87000 player'.

I posted this in a similar thread over on jackpotty but i will repeat it here, as its the same subject..

Its time that arcade owners stopped getting moody and barring people if you win as they act as if you are taking money out of their pockets when you win but your not, all you are winning is what someone else has lost anyway, not their money.

Plus if they had any sense they would actually want players in an arcade, coz eventhough they 'always win' (bollocks) its the amount of coins played through stuff that they get their profits out of anyway.

Lets say you win and make 100 quid profit, you may well have put 45 or 50 coins through something to get something like 60 back on one machine, so to get to your 100 profit in total, you could well have put 300-400 coins through various machines to make that money.

So lets add it up...

For arguements sake we will say all the machines in my hypothetical arcade are set on 78%, so out of lets say 400 coins one bloke puts through machines all day regardless of weather he wins or not, the arcade take 22%, which would be £88.

So deduct a bit for their overheads, machine maintenence, electricity bills etc.. and they have probably made what, £45 quid roughly out of that one player even if he does win.

Then imagine, if they have barred even 20 'players' think how much they have essentially lost out on in one month in the summer, and they say we are the stupid ones for playing em

you gotta understand that owners don't owe you a living clarkey.
even if you are playing legit it's up to them if they want in their premises or not.
they are perfectly entitled to not want you there and alot would rather the percentage was paid out to grannies and mugs to keep them coming back.

Oh i know that mr lugsy, i never go into an arcade and expect to win anyway, it just seems funny to me that players in an arcade will actually make them money in the longrun if they thought about it for a second before barring people.

I see what you mean about who the wins are paid to to keep them coming back, but as most people will know, players who win hardly ever leave as soon as they win as they try their luck in another of their machines alot of the time anyway.
