Heard a similar story elsewhere, think it might have been someone over at Fruit Emu. Proper Sick when that happens.
What was the name of the fruit on £8/£10 JP that you had Winsteppa feature alongside JP and it would reguarly only do £1.20 ?? Was it nudge banker ?? Had £4 plus notation repeat chance??

If it was the new video £70 version, then the top can go as low as £25, and as high as £140. I have one in the Aardvark in Coventry which i play quite a bit. I was gutted when i only got £25, but then it is easy to get £20's when playing on £1 a go from Test Your Strength, Nemesis, etc...
Aside from the "not guaranteed £70" tops, i quite like it

There were a few early JPMs that wouldn't do the full top from the er, top. Bit naughty, methinks. Especially as almost all the time, the 'top' is above the JP, or further up the trail, hence it being 'the top'!
Not just JPM though, Cosmic Casinos by BWB (Crest?) would often give a lower than JP amount from the top.

The highest cash win is £20 on £1 play, so the top feature DOES always seem to pay more than this. I suppose its more a question of "what do you prefer... lots of tops that can pay between £25 and £140, or very, very few tops but they all pay £70". Bear in mind, on a trail to end, that would make getting past the £20 on this game almost impossible. I'd rather have it the way its been done - but thats just me.
I totally agree that on games with Pots, the top of the pot should be a £70 streak at least....

As written in Smedley's Big Club Fruit machine guide. Interesting you saying that about The Aardvark Barry. There have been some good fruits over the years in there. In fact, nostalgia alert, I got my first £25 top on the 'It's Showtime' [JPM] in there. I say £25 top, I had nudges onto red 7s, it was on a 1, or maybe a 12 and I went higher, or lower and got the top for £55!!! Woooooooo!!
Anyway I checked there a couple of weeks back and I saw a Let's Play DOND and a......a.......a........what was it now?...........Perfect Game I think, or no, wait......Big Deal that was it. Sorry, bit crap at remembering all these LED deals. I walked back out again. They did have a £35 video Cops 'n Robbers and a WoW before then. I've never really been in there much since they lost Invincible and Rovers + 4 reeler. I reckon Jeff had often murdered the 4 reeler, but the Rovers + Invince were usually fair to middling to good.
Anyway I'll have another snoop around. Teary eyed nostalgia, Fireball and Hell Raiser paid for many a curry! It'd be nice to step right back in time and play rollertoaster
They've taken out that p3 wiyb from the bottom Showboat and replaced it with a Casino 5 Liner [Red], of all the new reds they could replace it with, had to be that one.
I'll probably regret writing all this when an emptier comes out for video rollercoaster and Casino 5 Liner.
Quick tip: You might be wondering what super steppa is on the top level. Well I can tell you what it is. Here is what super steppa is. The information that follows will detail all the detail you need to know to find out what super steppa is. What is super steppa? Do you want to know what super steppa is? Here's what it is. You have a pseudo skill dapple onto the <ahem> 'BIG' cash amounts on the right hand 5-of-a-kind column. You'll get £2 for cherries, £3 for lemons, £5 for apples, £10 for 7s and £650 for radioactive kumquats. It'll step down and then like pink set on Monopoly it'll add THAT cash value for each joker that steps onto the line. You'll proabbly find you win £10. So if you get cherries and it steps onto five jokers altogether, you'll get £10. If you get radioactive kumquats and it only steps onto seventy jokers, you'll get £45,500, presumably on red there's a repeat and as Reds like to repeat big values, expect to win a few million if it all goes to plan with the kumquats. What IS a kumquat anyway?
Quick tip over with.
Ah yes, there was a p2 wiybl in the Aardvark as well for a brief while. Then it went p3 and then it vanished.
I played that Inspiral Games Snakes and Ladders 'Pub Fruity' on a Juice quite recently. Advertised as £70 jackpot. It was going up to Money Multiplier, which on the same game on the bookies terminals => £35 to get £35. Soooooo I thought, let's give it a go. If my cunning plan goes to plan it should be £35 for £70.
It's progressive, but feels less so on £70. After £40 in it was only just going one feature above MM and had hit the £15 cash a couple of times. Ladder goes £6,£8,£10,£12,£15,£25,£50,VIPER STREAK and so, although no £70 cash, you'd assume top = £70 wouldn't you?
After £95 in I got the VIPER STREAK white, pretty sure it wouldn't let me carry on, autocollect and it banks up to £50 and then does YES NO, it went YES and I got another £50 then a no.
Rather slow to play and that was with me deliberately sacking off some boards. It's either comatose or it'll start rolling in numbers for boards every few credits as soon as it gets MM happy. Three time holds on 5,6,7 => bugger all.
So maybe this is a new theme. Top <> £70. I'll give rollercoaster a bash sometime soon, bet they've got those crappy £250 Riches in Suzy Q (now Rileys) now as well
Enough chitter chatter.
