I seem to remember QOPH failing.
So what's the deal with the new wordlist? It's obviously not the official scrabble list any more - which it was previously.

I approached the Ice Wharf in Camden QUIXOTICALLY yesterday and was rewarded with 2207 points, my new PB.
I've also had QAIMAQAM rejected, to my extreme chagrin.

great numbers, but we can all clear now; let's have some more impressive words. eveybody can count to 0009999 but there is no joy in that.
11x11 hasn't been done yet... nor has BRASSSMITHERY, nor have thousands of OUTSTANDING words.
nobody ever wins on those things.

True enough, it's high time that counterrevolutions was taken down, for one.

I discovered what may be Hyena's highest Word Soup score the other day: 1921 in the Wishing Well, North Finchley. QUIETENED was the top word. I think it's only fair that he's entered on the scoreboard.

I very nearly broke what for me would be like the 4 Minute Mile in the Copa bar in Oxford last night, but instead I chose to stop at 1995 points as a tribute to the last time my team won a trophy (and the way football is going, the last time that will ever happen
). The score was helped by the letters for JAZZIEST (280 points) sitting there like a tap-in to an open goal. As I don't expect to get anything like that score again I really will have to let Bob know for his page.

I've had that once, on a Gamesnet. I was also playing with deep suspicion, so took what I had.
Played ALIQUOT last night. Unimpressive score and length, but just a really nice word.
