West Ham duly obliged. You've got to think Hughes will be gone close season. Much as I think he's a good manager, he's never going to deliver City's aspirations. Southgate's probably bought himself another year if they stay up (which I doubt they will)
I shall stick my neck out for a midweek punt tonight since there is a full Premiership programme. Pompey are a tasty price at home to Chelsea - I know it goes against the grain but Chelsea still don't look right and I fancy Pompey to score. It's the price as ever that's swaying me - 11/2 High St, 7.8 Betfair.
Accas:
Homes: Liverpool (2/5), Pompey (nap)(11/2), Blackburn (13/
, Fulham (8/11), Stoke (nb)(11/
, Spurs (4/5), Wigan (5/4)
Aways: Arsenal (8/13), Villa (2/1), Man Utd (4/9)

-£463 Pompey indeed.
Much as I hate to do it, Boro look the pick of the bunch at 23/20 a samey 2.32 Betfair tomorrow. I expect Man U to win but my principles prevent me backing odds on shots, however slight.
Accas:
Homes: Man Utd (10/11), Bolton (nb) 23/20, Boro (nap) 23/20, Everton (4/9), Sunderland (5/4), Chelsea (2/5), West Ham (4/6)
Draws: Arsenal (16/5), Hull (11/5), Villa (11/5)
Well Done Kauto by the way. A truly great horse.

-£563 Boro. Knew it. Southgate useless.
Expect Hull to get a creditable draw at Wigan today. 5/2 High St, slightly but not much better 3.65 Betfair.
Accas:
Homes: Stoke (nb)(13/10), Spurs (3/1), Man City (8/13), Liverpool (1/2)
Draws: Pompey (23/10), WBA (9/4), Wigan (nap)(5/2)
Aways: West Ham (11/4) Man Utd (4/9) Arsenal (8/11)

-£663. Ah if only football matches were over after 80 mins, I'd be a richer man. Still, the Homes acca cushioned the blow somewhat (22/1)
Well I'm sticking with the Hull draw philosophy. Pompey are battling, Hull are goal shy so expect a low scoring game which I'd say makes the draw a reasonable bet at 23/10. A disappointingly similar 3.35 on Betfair so save on the commission and nip down the high street.
Accas: (apologies for the early kick off)
Homes: Arsenal (1/2) Bolton (11/10)(nb) West Ham (Evs), Everton (8/11), Man Utd (2/5)
Draws: Hull (nap) 23/10, WBA (9/4)
Aways: Spurs (17/10), Chelsea (8/13), Liverpool (8/13)

-£433. Better. Nice 14/1 acca again as well which paid for a few Easter Eggs.
Drawville again this weekend. Villa/Everton looks the bet of the weekend to me. Villa can't win lately and Everton have a steely resolve of late. 9/4 High St, slightly better 3.35 Betfair.
Accas:
Homes: Liverpool (3/10), Chelsea (1/4), Boro (11/10), Pompey (4/6), Spurs (4/6), Stoke(nb) (11/

-£209. Season may yet be saveable.
FA Cup Semi tomorrow the best bet as a draw tomorrow. Everton will be well up for it but don't score many and Utd have the look of a team lately who are just trying to drag themselves over the line. One of them will go to extra time so I'll plump for tomorrow since I fancy Arsenal to do Chelsea. 9/4 High St, a much tastier 3.8 Betfair.

+£57! Been a while coming but we're back in the black for the season. Tasty little acca as well.
I'll stick with draws since they have proved so successful recently. The draw is a big price at Old Trafford tomorrow (10/3 High St, 4.4 Betfair) so I'll plump for that since Utd still don't look right to me, even though the others have made it easier for them. I suspect they'll get it by the odd goal but there's always a draw chance at 1-0 etc.
Accas:
Homes: Bolton (nb) (19/10) Everton (5/6), Arsenal (1/2) Blackburn (19/20)
Draws: Fulham (23/10), Hull (7/2), WBA (9/4), West Ham (12/5) Man Utd(nap) (10/3)
Aways: Pompey (13/5)
