Seems a bit shoddy that you've had to do all that work for £2,750 then some random caller wins £2,000 for sitting on her asre at home watching the telly.
Still better than a kick in the balls though!! Good Show Fella!!!

Shame I was at work for this - would've liked to have watched a fellow FC member 'whupping ass' on the box! :)

Perhaps there will be some Tube of You in the near future? ;) Edit: Ah yes *cough* that didn't show up on my work PC and then didn't re-check the thread!

Sounds like you did the business though, nice one! Edit: As I see, you did indeed do the business! ;)

Well done mate! Didn't realize we had such youthful board members! I don't think I would have done as well as you did there.

come on Fotherz, don't be coy, tell us about the day. was jenni as smouldering as she seems? was the doris on the far right an actress? how long did it seem between calling the order and seeing the outcome?

good effort for a tv debut under lights etc. and nice quip at the end too. £2750 for an hour's work? you can't get that on SWP; very pleased for you.

Amazing experience - can't believe I won!

The first two rounds were easy (only had to avoid coming last) so I stepped off the gas there, but the head-to-head was a rollercoaster...

I thought I'd blown it when I got my first answer wrong... looked like AWL but it was in fact AXE. I had a couple of passes too, but then got on a decent run towards the end.

Seeing Billy get through his ladder made me think he'd probably beaten me. But 30-29 to me! Unbelievable!

Then the final round. Caned through 5 out of 6 in record time (did anyone beat me on HORSERADISH?), but then couldn't get ELY even if I'd been there all day. Did anyone get it??

Flukehampton on the 50-50 guess at the end. I reasoned that they were more likely to be jumbled than not.

PHEW!

Next stop....?

PS You might be surprised to learn that when the three others came back for Wordplay Plus, Kelly won.
