I think the main point here is u could have just given away the "knowing the box"

If it was me, or any1 inquisitive, you'd think "How the fuck does he know it's 10p?"

then he gets his mates over and it only takes 1 with half a brain to work out that obviously the boxes are different.

so if the mega or £35 box is an easy one u've done urself no favours. Knowing that info is gold dust. The one I used to have had a big central dot for MS and I played it a few times for the sake of it and it used to be that box loads.

Then no deal all the way which normally went for £43+

As for people watching / helping I don't mind if it's helpful but obviously since start playing properly pretty much nothing they can say will help.

My most recent annoyance is being at least £40 odd into a red and dying on the £10 block only to be told by some twat watching "You had a tenner then mate"

I mean maybe saying "Did u not fancy taking the £10?" or something similar would be better but still annoying but to make it seem that I didn't fucking realise I had a tenner...... Argghh.

Ok I'll stop now......

to be honest, i think the guy with the 10p in the box probably just thought it was a good guess....

without looking for what box it is, you can sometimes just guess what box it is...

its like if some twat comes over and says "youve got the jackpot here mate" only to die two presses later on £5

he'd probably have dealt on about a tenner anyway... i find people who play these for a laugh/actual entertainment value collect anything around 10-15 once its offered anyway.

Kicking the shit out of people you don't know after offering them advice they almost certainly didn't want in the first place isn't really treating them with respect. Treating people with respect would be leaving them alone to play their game. Saves grief for both people concerned tbh. I'm not saying the OP's intentions were anything other than helpful, but you can understand why it wasn't received that way.

Yep, much better to be an ignorant moron who goes around giving people advice they don't want then kicking the shit out of them if they don't immediately suck you off for doing so.

The conclusion is this.

WHEN I GO FOR A POO, I DON'T EXPECT A LOAD OF PEOPLE TO CROWD AROUND COMMENTING ON THE ODOUR AND TEXTURE OF MY POO. (Unless I'm on that weird TV programme with Dr. Gillian McKeith). I DON'T NEED ADVICE ON HOW TO POO AND HOW TO WIPE MY BOTTOM.
I EXPECT A RESPECT FOR MY SPACE WHEN POOING.

IS IT THAT HARD FOR PEOPLE TO ABIDE BY THESE IDEALS WHEN IT COMES TO FRUIT MACHINES? Yes, but WHY WHY WHY?
Post from JG on the "Leicester" thread which sums it up pretty well actually :D

i dont expect a bj or even a reach around but what I do expect is some common respect from the bloke who i have tried to help, something along the lines of thanks for that mate, but gonna give it a gamble anyway.

You don't expect a bj? I should hope not.... I'm sure you are a smashing bloke, but.... well..... its... its not in my nature.

Which is fair enough from your point of view, and I'm not disagreeing with that per se. But look at the quote JG posted above. That's how I (and presumably the guy mentioned in the original post, and a lot of other people) feel about people watching me and commenting when I'm playing fruit machines. Respect goes both ways.
