when i had a real pcb in my house, i somehow managed to do a full ram reset, it thought it was new... all the electronic meters went to zero and i had to turn it on and off about 20 times over the course of a week to stop it alarming like fuck...
it played like a cunt for the first few £100's through it... then paid out loads and loads after a pot... then it played normal..
it'll be interesting to see how the machines percentage reflex work if they are all new....
very exploitable, if we all teamed together we could ensure that all of the pre loaded games are getting played then new ones have to be played by a new visitor to the site... hmmmm, this could end up being the biggest emptier any of us have ever seen!!!
or it bankrupt us all

I can hear the sound of loopholes closing from here!Spyder wrote:very exploitable, if we all teamed together we could ensure that all of the pre loaded games are getting played then new ones have to be played by a new visitor to the site... hmmmm, this could end up being the biggest emptier any of us have ever seen!!!

There is a good reason that he wants us lot to do some beta testing, of course.

sounds like a pyramid scheme to me!

In Gustavo Augusto Poyet Dominguez we trust.
Re: Does this help?
All very clever stuff, but I have a few question, peter.clayton wrote:In terms of Fruit Machines - the games are fully controlled in terms of game state by the creation of multiple game instances and depending on the number of concurrent players there may be several thousand live 'game instances' for each individual title. When a player logs in to a title he will be allocated a game instance to play. If there are pre-existing game instances available the player will be given one of those and the player will begin his session from where the last player left off (as you would do if you walked into a pub). If no game instance is available (if all are occupied by active players) then a new game instance will be created just for you as if we have wheeled you in your own special machine on request. When you leave the session - then that Game Instance will likewise become available for others to play from where you leave off!! No two instances are ever the same, but when a game instance is created anyone allocated that instance in the future will always continue in the cycle from the last sessions end point.
1)
If I play an existing/previous 'instance' of a machine say the 123rd instance (lets call it inferno_123) and I then log of and return and that same instance is available will it be assigned to me - making it like a virtual pub if you get my drift
Or will I be assigned another random 'free instance'
And will I be able to tell what instance I'm playing?
2)
If there are say 50 'free instances' of a game, and 20 of them are 'battered' what's to stop the site just taking the piss and making sure the 'battered' games are served up 1st?
But I suspect that it would have to do that to maintain / regain it's % ?
3)
Will your version of cash stacka be the same as the one on the paragon?
4)
Will your skill games be nailed to 30% like all other terminals ?

Good points though. I guess the percentage might be controlled 'globally' in a way, but also on a machine by machine basis. In other words, if the target percentage globally isn't being reached, you are more likely to find yourself assigned to a 'battered' version than a more ready one?
Then again, maybe not. Interesting to theorise over though...

Hmm Beta testing could quite well bite the owner on the arse. I wonder how many people won't be informing the site about any exploits they find ??

Agree with Gary, if someone is stupid enough to release a machine with an exploitable bug in the programming then they deserve everything they get...Pay intelligent people to test before release, problem solved. Manufacturers would do well to take note of this IMO too.Spyder wrote:i find anything on the beta... im DEFINITELY going to report it, cause i dont think its fair that an honest person loses their money due to a bug in the programming...
I detect a hint of sarcasm in his post.sir ratholer wrote:Agree with Gary, if someone is stupid enough to release a machine with an exploitable bug in the programming then they deserve everything they get...Pay intelligent people to test before release, problem solved.
