My favourite wins?

Well I'll cite that first ever same same any I had for 4p on God knows what machine near a swimming baths in Warwick. All from a 10p found in a locker. Who says favourite wins have to be BIG wins?

My first ever all cash £10 jackpot was a Viva Espagne. It was from nudge spinner or money spinner. £6 tokens rolling in on an original Cluedo. A super jester rolling in jackpot and only having £1.20 of tokens in the tubes.
A Copper Pot rolling in Aarons and jackpots for about £4-5 of profit (later squiddled away). My first ever £15 jackpot was on a Maygay called 'reel crazy' it was a bizarre affair with a board on a 3*3 strip that advanced. Then pinball Wizard, sure I had a red on that shortly after.
My first ever £25 jackpot was on an It's Showtime, nudges to red sevens on a 1, top for £55. Aardvark. Sweet. Pity a Carry on BS took £19 for a board. My first ever £35 jackpot was.........who cares?.......it gets less magical, more of a daily grind. Probably a winstopper I'd say. No, yes, hold on. Bet it was actually, probably Feb '07 a winstopper from DOND game I bet.
Going back, an Albert square repeating those double bars, a cannonball run on Popeye. A streak on an Instant Win for £30. A Nemesis. A robot paying jackpot. Enough already. Screen Play Knight Time. Two repeats. More generous than Eastenders.

I didn't just write all that. I'm not obsessed.

Some classics there mate..viva espagne :) goto be talking say mid 90's?, am i thinking the one that said ' Passport please!' in a french accent? good games!

And as for screen play, got to be one of my all time favs, KNIGHT TIME!, i used to stand back about 6 foot for that last speed..yeah!!, and remember the crazy pause just before it give u the 1 nudge for the red 7s? 4.80 in tokens here we come!

There was never a better time for playing machines than the 20p play/ £4.80 jackpot. Machines often paid £30 or more instreaks or"enhanced gameplay". Mr Average got a run for his money and you could play all day on tokens alone. It was so easy to make money that by closing time in the arcade you were chucking all the tokens into the 20p video poker machine to convert into cash. The reason was the jackpot to stake ratio of 24. Now it's been stretched frorm 24 to 30, then 40, 50, 83 and now 116 you may as well be playing a club machine. My favourite wins were on JPM Nudge Double Up Deluxe where skillful gambling and knowing the reels was a big advantage. It was always the braggarts way to stack your 10p's on top of the machine to show how good you were !!!. You even had to get up early to avoid the rush in my local arcade, the now demolished Crystal Rooms.

lol at stacking 10's on top of the jpm nudgers ,there was one that had a shed load of melons on the middle reel .sometimes you'd get the jacky (1 pound) roll in for big holdage :D

Favourite wins....so many isn't there, remember being quite skint one day and going halfs in a spons with my dad, 10 in RM for 75 then about 20 into a Jackpot Gems for a 75...lovely! Also remeber me and Dunz on an extreme of some kind, about to get off it when it cashpot streaks, just before we were gonna go to a club.

£1 in a 500 jackpot in hopwood servies, got 26 free spins, all adding up to 500 quid! i was in a state of shock. and yes £1 in. I went to watch my mate play them, he was about 60 in on elvis, i had £1 in my pocket and thought f*ck it. It must of been on autoplay from the person before as well, because i didnt even press any buttons. I will never do that again in my life, loved it. :)

Years and years ago. Working in a chippy. On £2 an hour. They change the payday so I get a small wage packet for 4.5 hours! £9 in the arcade then. Down to my last quid and very gutted (was about 13). Plant it into a cloud999 and it runs. Come off with £18 :)

One result today was up there; 8 quid in a HLS, SC 35, then red BB 105, then 2 credits later one of those 10 pound boards which you can almost rip out got SC fo 35. Not a bad hit for the first pub today!!

About 10 years ago - in casino with about £20 after my boss failed to show for his leaving do. £6 in £1000 money to burn (playing for 4th feature) - get a board and here a strange whining sound. About two weeks before this a casino regular told me that meant it was a Jackpot. Pissed as a fart and thought i must have imagined it. Play the board and nudge in 3 bells, think about collecting the tenner - but what the hell it's only another two nudges for a grand. Press start, press start, press start....question mark - oh well, never mind............skillstop!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I kid you not, i was INSTANTLY stone cold sober. Hit two nudges, and nudge in the 4th bell.............and the machine sits there, reading across the alphameric display........£1000 collect or continue!! Continue for what exactly!!!!!!
I was only in there twenty mins......... happy days.

Next best was before the £500 cap on bookies machines - £10 in some peice of garbage in Corals - 2nd spin £900 (Jackpot was £6000).

Although these fall into insignificance compared to winning a £30 buy in decent poker tournament. Thats a real buzz.
