Okay been a bit busy and not had chance to update you on the machines performance.

The new games have been an absolute disaster - its the bloody menu system - nobody can find them !

Here's this weeks top 10

1 Goldenballs
2 Hot Property
3 Heads Up Poker
4 Deal Or No Deal
5 Bullseye SSG
6 Scratch and Match
7 Super 11's
8 Can U Dig It
9 Wordsoup
10 Fantasy Football

The nearest new game is Are You Smarter which is at number 19 !!

I saw somebody playing Tactiles the other day - but its down at number 81 !!

I think the general consensus on here is that Tactiles should be even further down the list (if possible!) than that! :(

Numbers 2, 4 & 5 certainly don't surprise me, however... ;)

I have always stated that the menu system is not the best.

But the inclusion of the 10 new games has only served to highlight this even more.

I am not biased either way about the OPEN machines vs ITBOX etc..........can only speak as I find .

to be fair you are looking for a machine that provides maximum enjoyment for your customers and maximum income for yourself whilst Im looking for a machine that provides maximum enjoyment for me & maximum income for me so its not that any of us are biased we just have differing objectives.

Whoever designed these must have worked on designing betamax videos,
every friggin' one you play either breaks down mid game or is turned on but has a blank screen "hole in my bucket" comes to mind !.

I like the open machine - it's one of very few machines I know that has Hex Maniac, even if we did spend £10 or so playing crap games trying to get it to appear on the similar games list...

Hi

Yes it does have Hex Maniac - but as you point out its damn difficult to get to - try Blockbusters that usually brings it up.

I have stopped posting the top 10's because they never seem to bloody change.

You would have thought that a machine with 100 games to choose from would throw up different top 10's every few months? I put this down to the daft menu syste.

Mine has only broken the once (apart from the Pub Quiz debacle) and its still pulling in good money.

We got to it with Cops and Robbers I think.

You'd think Hex Appeal would bring it up...

Hi

I think I am expecting an update disc with new games on it next month.

Fantasy Football now looks out of date with 2007/08 on it.

Hopefully it will have a new menu system on it as well.

Has anybody seen the menu system on the new OPEN BLACK'S?

I haven't spotted one anywhere?

I played the rocket ronnie thing last night. JP as close to impossible as can be but still managed a break of 79 for £4. Then i ran for the hills with my new found wealth!
