Cat C licence is still £35 as far as I'm aware. Until the changes are passed by law you won't be getting a £70 JP.
"The maximum payout will be raised from £35 to £70 while punters will be able to stake £1 rather than 50p, under a relaxation of the rules proposed by Andy Burnham.
The Culture Secretary has agreed to the increases because "many operators across the gambling industry are finding trading conditions very difficult in the present economic climate", according to a consultation document.
The department was being pressured to increase the maximum prize to £100 by amusement arcade operators, however officials concluded that this "could lead to increased problem gambling risks".
There are also plans to double the maximum prize on "penny falls" machines in seaside arcades to £15. The maximum stake remains at 10p.
The change will be put before Parliament in the next few weeks and should come into force in time for the Easter holiday in mid-April. "
Another scary thing to note is this on there
"It is thought that typically between 80 and 90 per cent of money bet by players is paid out in prizes internationally, yet in Britain a legal minimum limit of 70 per cent was scrapped in 2007."

I saw it in a pub a couple of weeks back, but there was a landlady with bulging biceps and shoulder pads and very short hair eyeing it up, so I was scared to go near it.
I have one in a lady like place opposite a castle and also one in an arcade opposite Lloyds bank and Mcdonalds.
Slightly better than Italian Job, not as good as Duff Beer Guide.

Well i had a quick dabble as i always do with anything new thats out (yes i'll freely admit that). Huge block at £4 and Cash Code, though they are very dealwheel-ish in that £4-£5 ready doesn't mean a thing, whereas on other stack DONDs like big deal its ready when up there.
"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
Back to this machine...
Got a GATW for a flat £35, played for next board (Thought it'd do the usual 2 GATW's but did a £4 board with cash code)
Anyway....
In another pub, I got 4 phones, then 3 more phones. Meaning dealing gives you BOTH amounts.
Both boards had £3 and Mega Streak left.
Offer of £18.97 and £19.02.
I dealt, meaning an equal of £38
However, the max win is £35 :x Therefore, BFG owe me £3, me thinks!
