Re: New type of spoiler on FFQ?

I wonder if it might be Revolution - it's not mentioned on their website, but I was playing Nuts earlier and am pretty sure I got one of the "athletics-draughts-bodybuilding-luge" spoilers which also crops up on FFQ. I'm pretty sure that whoever makes FFQ is also behind Back To Skool as a lot of the questions seem to be common to both. The website suggests that Revolution is part of Inspired so it is conceivable that FFQ has been made entirely in-house. Whatever, it's definitely the cream of the crop / crap at the moment.

Ah yes, the Gateway Chandlers Ford - home of the impressively happy bar staff...

I spotted an INCA 111 last night, i.e. a 37-0-1 season.

I've also seen one of these at the Paxton's Head, Knightsbridge, and another player confirms he's seen a 112.

Someone who I think is INCA visited a local GamesNet where I had filled the board up with scores in the 85-95 range and had taken all the easy cash out, with the result that the machine was always rock-hard.

Pleasingly he was restricted to a 98 although that still topped the board - won't have given him JP though (or maybe even £5). The name used was ELLO, which I speculate is INCA's monicker when playing a machine well-used by one regular. (I've seen ELLO on one other local box in the same circumstances.) ELLO plays as Chelsea, as does INCA.

In other news a local ItBbox to me has been replaced with a new ItBox (result, as the old one was f**king spent). I had the first go on FFQ on the new machine, but was only good enough for a 94 and 96 and £5 and £3 respectively - pity. :(

Likewise - rather "backwards" of him, ahem.

I also wonder whether INCA is also MIKE, who's got a few very high scores in various pubs in London. But against that, I think MIKE plays as West Ham, so maybe he is a different professional.

Is anyone prepared to admit to being 'ALMO'? - this name appears near the top of quite a few leaderboards in what might roughly be termed the Midlands.

In other news, I got a new PB of 107 at the weekend. I have to say that for the sense of satisfaction, even more than the accompanying £20  , a perfect season of 114 points is one of my last remaining quiz machine ambitions. You'd obvously have to catch the game in a very good mood, and probably get lucky on two or three complete guesses, but doing that would feel as sweet as anything in the old standalone days of achievable but tricky JPs.

I've seen scores by ALMO in York before, and I think I've also seen scores by him in the north-west (although where I can't recall, as it feels ages since I've visited north west England for any reasons). Clearly a good player.

Well done on the 107 - very good. I suspect a 114 on FFQ must be really very very difficult. I've never seen nor heard a report of an INCA 114 (or one by anyone else) over the many hundreds of London venues at which he's played. I suspect he's probably done it somewhere but I bet only once or twice.
