Longest session on 1 machine?

Post by Fruiter »

What's the longest session everyone's had on one machine?

I did 3 full days on Spin n Win £500 JP, from 10am-5pm every day non-stop till we eventually dropped it, still came off with a £1400 loss! :(

I dont let myself come back after closing.

If im getting that down i quit - i have too, you really cant allow yourself to be chasing such big losses. Why are you pushing an S16?

Answer to the question, i've played all day like morning to night - and for days in a row, hell weeks/months in a row day after day back in the golden days, but never really on the same M/C.

As mentioned above, id be VERY suprised if nobody played that S16 whilst you were gone, after lock-up

Many people here have worked in an arcade/pub/bookies and they will tell you staff do tend to play the M/C's at the end of a shift. The place near me (pub) really takes the piss and lets their staff play fruits during their lunch break

I know the woman who runs the arcade and if i'm in all day i'll give her a lift home when she locks up and even pick her back up in the morning if i have anything reserved for first thing.

I wouldn't put it past the actual owner of the arcade to play them but most of the time he's in the U.S or somewhere sunny spending my bloody money!!
:x

In total we probably played for around 18 hours, we did a bit of running round to the bank taking £100 out at a time thinking 'THIS IS THE ONE'!

It was the worst week of my life £1000 of it all went in that one machine and while my other half was watching me she managed to go through £400 too, but if you look at my other post on 'best win' i won it back the following week just by a fluke on a different machine :D

I stick to £25 machines now! :?

I know what you mean, i've seen it done by so many people and thought to myself 'what are they doin' but i was given a hot tip that a little old lady had lost a months pension on it and left it without anything the day before! At the time i was new to s16's and thought i was on to a winner, but now i know after watching a mate throw £3000 in Elvis without a win over £150 that there's no guarantees!

Not including the s16's i did 5pm till 9.30 am the following morning in a snooker club playing 'hounds of the baskervilles' or was it 'pounds of the baskervilles' i can't remember, i've tried tio block it out! :o ops:

Came of with a £300 loss after pumping £600 into it for £250 JP and a bit of afterplay. I think i should just stop playing altogether!

As a bar manager, I will admit to playing the machines after work...

And why not...its a perk of the job.....

I think most people do, my ex used to work in a 2 for 1 pub where they have strict rules about staff not being allowed to play, but she'd work all night then i'd go in an hour before closing and she's tell me exactly what had gone in what, and it was before note changers were fitted so she had to change the money over too so she knew about every penny that went in and came out!

And with a neptunes treasure and a shreak your money( typo i think!), unchipped i couldn't go far wrong.

Ohhh the good old days!

'Sheik' yer money... ;)

Great machines those 'cresters were... ;)

Longest stint for me was probably on a Caesars palace way back in about '97 / '98 for about 5 hours...

Them two s.y.m & n.t in my opinion were the best crest machines ever (apart from t.o.t!) for some reason i was the only person in the pub who ever got the run and everytime it was a JP followed by 3 IM's or 3 repeats, i presume even if i could find one now they'd have a new chip!

Barcrest need to bring back those type of machines!!

Not that it would make a scrap of difference to the way it played the next day.
