Wont Take Coins

Post by shortie72uk »

Hi,

Got a Barcrest Trailblazer Club, when the machine is switched on it plays fine, but if i dont play it or one of my mates comes in to play on it after about an hour, it dont take any coins.

I went into test mode and tried to pay out in testing the coins but it dont work, digital display says its paying out then an alarm goes off.

Alarm comes up saying

AL81 Pound hopper jam

When i check it the hopper is not blocked, i have removed the coins many times but it then plays first time when i put the coins back in.

Any ideas

Also, every now and then i get a

AL54 24V Sense fault, have looked in the manual for this and it says its "MUX not reset" Dont know what the MUX is.

Any ideas on both counts is appreciated

The payout problem is most likely down to the opto sensor though surely? The coin mech would not affect payout in test.

Coin mech, payout, MUX lamp problem,Could be another leaking battery destroying components and causing alarm situation.

Surely not if it is an MPU5? Lithium battery is very unlikely to leak.

Really not sure to be honest, you are most likely right as there was one in the old style cabinet.
