Monopoly Dividend

Post by Mattb »

Saw this random new machine yesterday, totally unlike anything i;ve seen.

Made by Games Media, so immediately you think GR clone. But no, it's 100% licensed fayre, and a totally different layout. Cash stack up the side like a monopoly clubber up to £35, and some other bits. I'm struggling to remember much more as i didn't give it too much attention, anyone got a pic anywhere?

Yeah, one of these down my way Matt - I didn't give it the time of day, as it had 'that look' about it. :(

Yes GM's clone of Crazy Chair. Games Media have a habit of cloning successful machines.

I'd hazard a guess that he means succesful for the manufacturers! NOT for us. :(

Aren't we all Mr. Lacoste?

I've mentioned it on here before, but Bell Fruit released a test machine called 'The Drac Pack' which was a clone of WIYB. I only ever saw the one unit. The 'dial' was a clock face I to XII and the SFX where sort of spooky, howling winds whistling through graveyards type SFX.
Bones where removed for the DOND game and the winstopper noise was similar but more skeletal and you had to stop it on XII up the top, not the 4 o'clock position on WIYB.
It played EXACTLY the same and was obviously humptiable.

We have Panther Crack the code, how about Panther Bomb in the box?
or Monopoly Deeds in the box or some such wonderful stuff.

Did indeed mean for BF as Matt says, certainly not for us. They were everywhere when they first came out.

its on some Juices machines. looks great plays like shit.

mentioning juices i played a wiyb earlier on one for the first time and got smashed :)

trying to get a dial out on 50p stake is laughable on these. on the upside i found another 250 wiyb changeover earlier... on the downside it took 8 hours and left it with £181 profit ... never seen one like this one... hi 7 hi 11 ....death 90% of the time..

god i know its behind but everytime death more or less hurt.
