Red Buck Bunny
Never mind red bucks, how about rigged bucks!
£17 off, tenner shot first board. Chase. Got a cashing out as you do mid chase, and pressed collect....nothing. Can't collect ANYTHING. Auto pays out though, so its fine. Went flat, and by the time i'd got a £70 out of it i was £106 in. Took a cashpot after as i couldn't take owt else, and lost nearly £30 on it. How the fuck was it not buzzing and in early when you can only take cashpots or a bucks! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

the cashpot usually goes to the board value, maybe that explains it, also bucks bunny is a poor machine that rarely does more than a flat £35.Mattb wrote:Never mind red bucks, how about rigged bucks!

For the umpteenth time, they ain't games media! Profiles are totally different. Cool Games don't you know. I agree ob they streak bizarrely, sometimes fat £105s early, rarely a £140.....but i've also had the mispleasure of 8 rechases all flat, before i gave up and left a load down. I still take them on if they are flying, had plenty of good enough results to merit taking them on. Ones in the big cabs i find better as you obviously have the bucks sign at the top for a pointer. Unfortunately there are about 8 of these round here now :x

I've got to back Matt up on this one. I think these are always worth a look. As said it's a different story to GM. What you have to remember though is that they can offer £10 when that is all it can afford to pay, or when it's flying.
Last one of these I took on was Bucks in the old cab in Toddington. The bulb was emitting light towards one particular end of the visible electromagnetic spectrum. Easy sign. Now it was f'ing cold and I was with the woman who hates machines, so it was a quick dibble dabble whilst she was in the ladies. Obviously titting it's buzzes off and after a silly cautious collectypoos, decided it was so juicy and flavasome that I had to peek. I was in an Obish mode and thought the bulb was 'jammed' and I'd get spanked. £12 in for the very centre (flat) *and* before she had finished in the ladies. Next board was juicy and I had a No.9 small bus which I was seriously tempted to get on. She was back though and a face like thunder with the freezing air con. So i bottled it and took my £15 pashcot, stilll a pleasant run down. Eventually it exhibited a colour slighty more to the middle of the electromagnetic spectrum and it was back to normality. Probably would have made more if gone back in, chance for an extra freebie.
Played a Billy today and you can't give the flavas away, but little big heap and a bloopy whoopy and some foreplay yielded a respectable £14 prophet.
If it goes early, feels gifted, goes on a non 1/12 forced blarp, it's probably a whoopedy bloop. Remember repeats can come from main or be free.
When I was getting to grips, had a £50 for £70 at Pagnell. Thinking effectively £50 for £35(+free £35) battled on and it took £30 to get a £4 board. That repeat really put it behind. No freebies there. Took ages to go as £6 happy from off, so that was basically the earliest nip in for a random repeat that murdered it.
Also even with no signage, there's a certain number that spins at a certain time that is a strong clue.
So often the Whizzy and the Cluedo can be murdered and these are there. Mind the gap. Real 'orrible playa fayre there now. Ape, Tex, do and isle. Fookin' 'eck, some Doshball has that covered. Maybe Carl, maybe a magnet for this Cat + Eddie combo. 'Orrible playa fayre. Cash Attacks are useless now. Useless.
Give me five carrots for one CA (unless p1 + I don't mean plugging) any day in this climate. Any day.
When Gap was Bucks+Billy, good for big raises now and again, but these games save the special value very slowly, so you're talking weeks, not days. In between it's Special kays died that colour and knowledge of features and signs and stakes and stuff.
Always worth a look, just don't expect miracles daily.
Good machine, had frustrating times on them, but also had some beautiful raises.

Yep. When they first came out, I called them Whizzywigs or Whizzys. No one was calling them 'dials' or 'stoppers' back then, they were much rarer as well. Not in every LL bowling alley or services and ten million pubs.
Whizzy being the action of the white light going around on a winstopper.
Now I do call them dials, it's just easier, people know what your on about, but I was bein a bit cryptic up there, so went back to my old ways.
