The plight of Tottenham Hotspur
Since there's no fruit machine news, other than a load of nonsense and made-up emptiers, let's talk about the hilarity of the yid army's current league position!
"Spurs will DEFINITELY (the correct spelling of the word, contrary to popular belief) be above Arsenal this season, they'll even be challenging for the actual title!" said some random spurs fans...
First they blamed their bad start to the season on "Berbatov leaving" speculation. IDIOTS. Berbatov played his last game for spurs about a year ago, when Manure first announced their interest in him. So it was hardly a shock that he would leave. How on earth would that make a supposedly brilliant set of players like what they have make them play THAT badly anyway? In my estimation, if you have a player like that who mopes around all them time who acts like a spoilt brat throwing his toys out of his pram like that Keegan twat, seeing the back of him would surely make them play BETTER!
So now that he's long gone, along with the over-priced Keane, what's the excuse for Spurs being BOTTOM without a win? Why have the only won their cup games? Why win any games? Does the loss of Berbatov only cause them a lack of confidence in league games???
I think Ramos is a good manager but the idiots like Levy are stupid - they knew they'd sell Keane and Berbatov, there was never any doubt about that, so why didn't they buy strikers? I don't rate Pavlechelko or whatever his name is at all - I think Bentley is hopeless and Zakora never convinced me. I think Spurs are shit, to be quite frank.
I used to be a Spurs fan, but I gave up on them the day Berbatov was sold. Not because of the sale, but because of the rollercoaster ride, because of the false suspense and the fact that they will NEVER change, they will NEVER challenge for the title or get into the Champions League, NOT due to lack of resources, but because deep down they will always be greedy yids. They'll quite happily spend £17m on a pile of shit like Bentley but sell Keane for £20m and Berbatov for £30m - they think of the fact they got roughly double what they paid for Keane and nearly triple what they paid for Berbatov.
Bentley's a Manure fan who still plays for Arsenal. He can say what he wants and lie until the cows come home (that's his mum and his bird).
Modric was a brilliant signing - for whoever sold him.
Bent was a brilliant signing - for Charlton.
Defoe was a brilliant signing - for Portsmouth.
I could go on, but what's the point?
As far as I'm concerned, I hope wholeheartedly that Spurs get relegated. I feel its almost certain they'll still be in the relegation zone by Christmas. I will not renew my allegiance until they show some ambition - meaning Levy FUCKS OFF.
Until then, I'll be watching Man City closely - I love the money behind them and how it will piss off Manure and other so-called "big" teams.
I'm sick of supporting a team that repeatedly sells its best players, buys crap for double what they are worth and who's only realistic chance trophy wise is the 2 bob cup. They have a long history of buying SHIT for crazy money - £7.5m for Chris Armstrong? £11m for Rebrov?
Anyone else got an opinion?

i have been a fan for 32 years this is the worst i have ever seen them........ive gotta good idea lets sack our best manager 4 years (JOL) and sell our three strikers...yes i agree said the thick stupid cunts and that is why we r bottom even my 6 year old daughter could work that one out.......im that unconfident with them at the moment i had £30 on them to go down on saturday and a tenner on stoke to win....so on the brightside at least il make some money...plus if they get relegated it will be easier for me to get to games......i hate to ever bet against my team but ive watched everygame this season and we look like derby did last year and the worse thing is i cant see a way out!!!!!
To be fair any club would of accepted 20Mill for Keane, theres no way he's worth that.
Berbatov was a good deal but they should have done it a few weeks earlier.
Modric Is a good player, A lot of foreigners need time to adjust but with the state spurs are in they're all looking to him to save the club.
Chimbonda, fair deal I don't rate him that much and Hutton is a damn good full back.
Now for the disasters
Pavluchenko - Terrible buy, overpriced due to 1 half decent tournament. There's always 1 every tournament.
Bentley WTF?? He's a good player but not £17 Mill worth.
Malbranque - Cracking player IMO and should never have left.
Worst of the Worst was letting Defoe go, He's just a goal machine and 7 Mill was far too cheap.
From what I saw of spurs yesterday they'll go down. No balance, No commitment, No passion, NO IDEA!!

Fella, you are just annoyed that you have realised that you CAN NOT dump your team.
1. why support man city?
2. erm .. thats it
Spare a thought for all us fans of teams not involved in the Prem goldrush. I support the super soaraway seagulls. Do i bemoan the fact that we only drew at home to Hereford? Well yes, but that is not the point.
The main point is that you have ups and downs with your team, and hey, when you go down you will have 23 new sets of fans to take the piss out of you. So its not all bad is it?
Anyway, whitehart lane has seen better days (maybe think about a ground share with the woolwich wanderers to boost kudos?)
Finally, why support man city when the super soaraway seagulls have already stuffed them this season?
Money in Football buys nothing but grief. i hope brighton NEVER reach the prem; The championship is a more enjoyable league.

You stick with your team no matter what, just because there having a bad time you can't jump ship, I've always believed in supporting your local team, i realise some people's dad/uncle support a different team from the local one so it bred in you from a young age, I was born in Leicester, I live in Leicester and my family are from Leicester so why would i support Man U or Chelsea, i've never understood it???
glory hunting if you ask me, why don't no-one support Accrington Stanley, Crewe Alexandra or Scunthorpe???

Well i've been a lifelong U's fan, and would never dream of changing, even though the past 5 years we've gone down from what is now league one to the conference, and come within a whisker of going bust. It's so much more real than the premiership millions too. Love it. I'm off to Boston United for an FA Cup R4 qualifier on saturday too....there's dedication for ya!
It's also where a good wedge of my fruit money goes, following them up and down the land!

"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
Do you remember the play off semi final Matt, in 1992? a 0-0 draw i think it was at the Abbey, then a 5-0 demolition job at Filbert Street, i was there that night, shame we went on to lose at Wembley (missing out on the first ever premier league season) to Blackburn after a dodgy penalty when David Speedie dived, he later signed for Leicester and became a hero, its a funny old game.
Lee Pisspot and Steve Claridge were not bad signings from you lads either.

Whilst you must never 'dump' your team - after all, they need your support - I can't help but notice Spurs are in a viscious circle.
They lose a load of games, they sack the manager because the chairman isn't intelligent enough to realise that constantly replacing the manager doesn't help matters, they get a new manager. The players stay the same unmotivated bunch they were before, the next manager comes in, loses, gets sacked, and we're back at square one.
Repeat x 10 years.

what a load of shit this is obviously not a true fan.
Of course i do, was the biggest game in our history, and maybe cost us a premiership place! :xExtreme Eddie wrote:Do you remember the play off semi final Matt, in 1992? a 0-0 draw i think it was at the Abbey, then a 5-0 demolition job at Filbert Street, i was there that night, shame we went on to lose at Wembley (missing out on the first ever premier league season) to Blackburn after a dodgy penalty when David Speedie dived, he later signed for Leicester and became a hero, its a funny old game.

First, obviously I am not a TRUE FAN and I'm glad. If being a true fan involves this: 17 years of winning nothing but the 2-bob cup a couple of times, selling "our" best players for GREED purposes like when that smug ALAN SUGAR CUNT was in charge and we bought Chris "Donkey" Armstrong for £7.5m in those days which is probably the equivalent of £25-30m today, watching the team get to 4th then, as only Tottenham can, BLOWING IT and giving the champions league spot to Arsenal on the final day of the season and blaming food poisoning! - well let some other IDIOT support them. They never get it right! When we had crap squads, we'd always start well in the premiership then drop away tamely, now we've had a decent squad and there's expectation we're bottom - 3 seasons in a row Spurs have started terribly now.
As for Jol, lovely bloke but he never gave the team the confidence to beat the big 4 - that was the only thing Levy's done that I agree with, although the manner in which he did it was pretty bad. Jol had an AWFUL record against the "big 4", recording just one win which was against Chelsea at White Hart Lane. He'd never have won the 2-bob cup as that involved thrashing the gunners and a lucky win against chelski.
I was happier that Chelski won NOTHING having come so close to winning everything last season than I was with Tottenham's achievements.
So Ramos and Poyet went and bought some decent defenders and you thought, fair play - now we can really challenge. Then they sold Defoe - the striker who wanted to play for them more than the other 3. You DON'T sell players who WANT to play for you AND have a great goal scoring record, you sell players like Berbatov who DON'T want to be there.
Fair play to Berbatov though, look at him now. Scoring offside goals for fun, keeping Tevez out of the Manure team - who'd trade that for being bottom with Spurs?
For me, the buck stops with that Levy idiot. At the end of the day, every transfer goes through him and selling the one striker you didn't need to infuriates me. If Defoe was still at Spurs, he'd be banging the goals in and they'd be mid-table at worst. Irresponsible team management, a complete disaster - they knew Keane and Berbatov were definitely on their way out by July and fucked about doing nothing - its scandalous that Levy is shameless enough to still be in charge - what does he do? Blame the other teams for "tapping up" his players then accepts hush money to not report them to the FA.
At the end of the day, the message being sent out from Spurs, through Levy, is as follows: hello there BIGGER clubs, you can buy our players whenever you want, tap them up, whatever you like as long as we're happy with the fee after you've unsettled them, as a result we'll never be challenging the top 4 because every player who has a decent season for us is bound to be sold and will want to leave BECAUSE they know they will never achieve anything but 2-bob cup victories if they stay and that even if they do stay, any other decent players we have WILL leave and the team WILL get worse.
THAT is WHY I no longer support Spurs, as long as Levy's regime is in place, they will never achieve what the fans know they are capable of and DESERVE, yet they still waste their money on a team that's heading for relegation, paying for Levy's mistakes while they're at it.
Good luck.
What an awful state of affairs.
