with all respect: can we subdivide this forum? i am being serious.
i am not interested in niche SWP with speed-stopping etc. far less in dubious strategies. i can't speak for anyone else but i doubt i'm the only one.
we all know that paragon have been beset by bugs and that SWP has been corroded by AWP games masquerading as skill games across all terminals. TBH i'm fed up of rubbish about casino royale, connect 4, TPTP etc.
maybe the point i am really making is: SWP developers, have the courage to do what you should be doing and not sneaking a fruit machine into the quiz cabinet. two years ago the paragon was a joy to play, now i am doing it for pocket money. can't think of any new games which i enjoy. bring on MOTD, that looked very promising. i'll be rubbish at it but it is 100% more playable than FFQ and that did hugely well for LL.
(it is always something else)

nobody ever wins on those things.
Sten, despite only being a casual quiz machine player I agree with what you are saying. Casino Royale has no place on a paragon, and nor do several other games, although maybe not including c4 which does, after all, depend on strategy.
Its highly dubious that such games should be allowed on what are, and have always been regarded as quiz machines, and having skill based games on such terminals results in the inevitable invasion by people from the other end of the social spectrum into what is otherwise a haven for those who thrive on a more educated and considered approach to gaming.
There are several cabinets that allow for the games mentioned above, yet they don't appear. It smacks of an attempt to disguise skill/fruit machine games as something they aren't in perhaps an attempt to slip under the radar.
Or something... I dunno, i'm 3/4 into a bottle of Zubrowka, so perhaps I'm not making sense. I had the idea of having a nostalgia section, where the 'elders' amongst us could reminisc about games from yesteryear.....
In the meantime, i'm sure the 'bug phase' associated with Paragon etc will soon pass, I think it has already, and the quiz section will once again be frequented by literate souls such as yourself and others...

It may be snobbish Istenem, but I agree with you: the forum has become increasingly dominated by posts on various non-quiz SWP games, and often on the various exploitable bugs which we know about on those games. That would be OK in itself if the new posts were properly written, but with a few exceptions (such as Mr McStreak, who has posted above), the new posts tend to be poorly spelt and punctuated one-liners, often failing to offer any useful or informed comment (although no doubt the posters concerned could offer informed comment if they chose to do so). I rather hope that the industry gets its house in order again soon and closes down what remains of these bugs, so we can get back to normality in this forum!

I have to disagree with a few things that have been said...
While the forum might be entitled Quiz Machines (and therefore it may well be right not to talk about non-quiz SWP games in here), not everyone wants to play quiz games on SWP terminals. SWP means Skill With Prizes - i see no mention of Quiz Games Only in there.
Skill Ball Bingo, Casino Royale and the like have a place on a skill game terminal because they are skill games. If people don't play them they will be removed from whatever terminal they are on - if they take enough money, they'll stay there. Its all about choice. Just cos you don't agree with it, doesn't make it wrong - or right!
I agree some games take the idea of "skill" and push it so far to the edge of morality (and maybe legality) that there should be some QC from the companies involved that stop these games seeing the light of day.
I, for one, get more enjoyment out of some non-quiz games than out of the majority of quizzers.

I couldn't give a fuck as long as they pay out
As you all should know, the long game is in Q & A because that is where class will out, but I'm not averse to the odd spank of a non Q & A if it presents itself. Aaah Monkey Puzzle, where are you now?
On the other hand, I agree that we should make this forum about Quizzers only. Then you can fuck Word Up off in with all the other crap.
