jpm club give us a break problem

hi all i have just bought jpm give us a break it uses an jpm impact board i had trouble with the sound so i tried swapping the two small boards which plug into the big board around no when i turn it on the machine wont start up jst get one red light on the main board think i b roke it any ideas would be great cheers andy

Have u swapped these boards back again and still the machine does not boot up??

hi mate swapped them back now it doesnt start the machine up it did do before i swapped them around

sounds like u blew an eprom mate, the jpm impact mother board has 2 or sometimes three program cards that slot into the mother board, the sound proms sit on one card the game proms on the other, by swapping i think u may have killed her

do u think i broke the main board or just the 3 little ones if so u no any one who got any to sell

The Impact board may have blown,seen this happen on more than one occasion even when experienced engineers have plugged the cards in the wrong ports.

yea machine doctor is right, there not the greatest boards ever made and i too have seen many blow on repair, just poor technology imo
