50p stake +6%

Post by JG »

Does anyone know if 50p stake on the new wave of machines gives +6% on all makes? Or is it just Reds?

Reds and Maygays, from what I've seen so far...

although I've never seen a (Barcrest) Cock-a-Doodle-Dough with the dual stake - anyone know whether that gives you +6%?

I've got two Manic Munchers with 50p/+6%
one Jewel in the Crown with 50p/+6%

and my favourite Invincible, already set to 82% before the 50p/+6% ... which is fond of doing £105 streaks :)

Machines offer +6%. But 6% what? 6% losses.

check the small print on the machine.

Enhanced payouts!!! for who? The suppliers? Think????

the whole object of the +6% campaign is probably not to give the punter a +6% raise (as emulator figures have shown) but mainly as a sweetener(to get Joe Punter used to paying 50p per spin) when most machines will go 50p per play as standard when the duty comes down in price!

6% extra means it adds 6% extra to the payout percentage of the machine.

say set at 72%, +6% = 78%.

After 10,000 games the machine should be sitting at that target percentage. (BACTA regulations)

in thoery you get 78p per £1 you would put in. that extra 6% means u get 6p more per quid.

sad really aint it? dont play 50p.

personally i am having decent results by playing 50p a play. I think the 6% difference makes a bigger difference than some people are making out.

78% of 30p is 23.4p
86% of 50p is 43p

they are still taking ±7p off you every spin but it is a little bit more on 50p stake.
nobody ever wins on those things.

This is a very good point.

still, I too have had better eexperiences of the 50p and would always choose the highest stake just to get me off the machine more quickly!

Thing is I think its only a keen player who will be playing them on 50p where as average joe who puts change in from round in the machine will still be playing 30p spins. Perhaps this is why some people are experiencing good things on them at present.

Can't understand why some of the full time players on here i.e. Mr £13.89 would not play on 50p surely it maximises the profit/time ratio on the majority of machines. Ok, some machines have rips for JP's but generally these are not the 50p machines anyway.

A little off topic but I have a 50p hot shot. 50p = ithe hot/red games spins every credit instead of giving you a one in two chance of spinning the reels it spins every time. Surely good VFM on this one ?? (quote a nice little earner for me at the minute)

I can't believe people are even debating 50p. It's the only way to play most of these machines. All that happens is you kill it on the +6%, joe public goes back on with 30p and 6% less.....the machine is then miles under what it should be, and plays awful for them, and fills up quickly. CADD does better streaks on 50p, CCP nearly always streak to £50+ on 50p. I haven't had anything flat on 50p anywhere yet. If you are forcing it anyway, +6%/50p is a must. Use your loaf!
