Bellfruit superhold trick?
Bellfruit superhold trick?
I know it will have been chipped against now, but what machines would the Bellfruit superhold trick have worked on?

It's old hat now. There was a LOTR that did the superhold in Nobles in York about 3 years ago, which got happily refloated for a while before a critical was issued.
Basically it was cancelling superholds while holding things. Stepped down, and eventually JP would come in. Very much a 100% empty.

lotr and ctl could be done, but it was difficult..ob wrote:LOTR was not emptiable, as superhold was not offered enough on the reels, cop the lot was debatably emptiable, however snake was piss easy
you could usually get a quick £50 out tho if you held the heads so they were in the "superhold" setup... too long ago to be bothered with an explanation,
yes yes its not that tricky, just hold reels so nothing is there for superhold, LOTR was not doable, you empty a £250 hopper one and I'll be impressed, they were around in services for ages after the chip and were never loads short... why is that I wonder...
you should try doing a cop the lot thats heavily played ie. kings cross station or baker street station when they were there, then we'll see if you can empty it - seen them go £100 without a board/superhold

must have been funny to rip a jackpot when it was no-where near ready..nixxy wrote:The beauty of the superhold trick was that it worked on Club Cop the Lot aswell.
The only problem was finding one!
on the awp, it could take ages for the machine to play right again, costing £80 for a regular jp... imagine the club version in a really really bad state like that!
