Barcrest Comp

Post by Cash is King »

Check out http://www.barcrest.com they are doing a lowest bid auction for a Yabba Dabba Darts machine filled with £400

I have made a bid and apparently it is unique but not the lowest :(

Thought it would have been a good thing but just looking they are charging £1.50 a bid which doesn't bother me cos I have a company phone but if they get say 600+ bids they would have probably got their money back anyway.

Anyway good luck

The winning bid for this comp was 150p as it said on the website. I had put one in of 186p. It was unique but not the lowest. I was upset and didn't enter again because of that

I'd love to know how much they made from that, i estimate somewhere in the region of tens of thousands...

I wonder how long it took them to recover their costs?
