Yup, I've now seen two different cabinets with all lights out, only the alpha working and the Cashpot LED on the top board.LewisM14 wrote:I've seen one with all the lights out too, but there was up near Middlesborough - Maybe its a common fault with the machine
I'd still rather punch Ant and Dec's lights out, rather than see them switched off though

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
A lovely £300 into a Poker Face this afternoon :x
£35 shot off £29, didn't go in...£63 for flat, then the problems. Ready all the while after, but no good streak. 7 rechases witha mix of £35/£70 tops before a huge gap to £295 in. £105 top followed by £105 top again next board, few small wins to tidy up and i was happy with £80 down. Shows the trouble you can get into if you play these beasts!
Most annoying thing on these is i've had ones nowhere near as glaringly ready do £105s off £50 odd, yet this one was just flying all the time but wouldn't go in. As it's in a pretty quiet arcade i reckon we're looking at 2014 for a recovery :P

"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
I'm sure these are harsher than older globals, they often do £70 tops rather than £105's, and generally cost the earth to get em...Mattb wrote:A lovely £300 into a Poker Face this afternoon :x

Woah Matt, that is nasty, but I bet you're thankful that it double one-oh-fived, else that could have been a severe dent!
The one near me (that replaced a Monster Cash
) can be a bit of a pain too; appearing blatantly ready, but then proceeding to take a wedge before topping out. A 'top' board is obvious on this - usually from a 'level 2' start, it just continually goes to super shots, via 1s, 2s, 11s and 12s.
What's the best 'feature' on this (not that it'd be taken, but for afters / quick rip etc.) I've had 'Up the Antie' a few times, but I think there's one better than that?

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

The news of Mattb losing on a fruit machine has left the fruit chat community reeling with devestation and shock.
As a mark pyne of respect, members have dedicated a two and a half days silence, on the Misc Manufacturer's forum to mark this sorrowful occassion.
Ok chaps, well respected, talk may resume once more.
