Is playing a losers profession?
I agree with you Lee, if you make more than enough, then it would be crazy not to put a little aside, the problem is, I don't know many who can afford to save. Anyone lucky enough to fill their boots from the perfects should put some away incase a drought comes, but by the time I got it it was all but over really. Most fruit players have droughts and then use the money they have saved while others will rough it for a while.

stevie spot on m8 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there are lots of walks of society that cant save a penny ,,,,,, its rough out there for a lot of people , my heart goes out to genuine good decent hard working people living in britain ,,,,,, i sympathies fully .
my argument is ,,,,,,,,,,,, that if you are fortunate enough and have the means and capabilities to save a proportion of your earnings (despite the field your in) ,,,,,,,,,, then it would be foolish/stupid to pass that up.
and any full time player of the last ten years has had ample time and earnings to be in that fortunate position .
so therefore it would be stupid not to.
i know its about choice ,,,,mr bfk ,,,,,,,,,, but with all due respect bud ,its a stupid choice if you dont.

I imagine alot of players have already given up the game now? I used to know some really good players who got stuff very early but don't even seem to be around anymore. My ability to get hold of good things has gone right down the swan since returning lol.

just a question nothing to do with the subject mate, but most of the time you post, you post 2 things next to each other. Why can't you just stick them in the same post?Stevie S wrote:If you can life the lifestyle you want and still afford to save, then yes, you're luckier than me and I don't have expensive taste.
It's a pointless question but I just need to know.

If you ask me, people going out all day every day and all weekend are losers. There are plenty of players that are lonely, with no mates, and no other life than fruits. There's also a lot like me that don't have rhe desire to play this amount of time, and make enough to live a decent lifestyle without it totally taking over. I'm out when I can be now, got a good job interview next friday, and provided all goes well, thats me done. It'd been a good 6 years, but my time is up.
