PCB 2
Addams Famly - Great m/c, top ten fave m/c and I'd like to see this get the £35 treatment (or ToT)
TAW - Only ever played on 2, both in covered locations and always seemed burnt.
B. Axe, Rev & Ult. - These weren't my faves, I actually preferred D n P and G Dragon over these 3.
Big Cheese - Had to be caught at the right time for the £75, then it was a great machine!
Hot Rocks - Can't put a m/c to the name
:
PCB - In my opinion it was over-rated.
These were back in the day when Barcrest designed and released good playable machines with afterplay, jps that came back within boards not jp amounts. You could have mentioned m/c's like VIU/clones, Arabian Nights/clones and Supercharged, all good machines that were readable not particularly untrustworthy either.
The bottom line is if we all liked the same thing and did the same thing their wouldn't be enough to go around and this DEFINATELY is true in the dog eat dog world of fruities.
Plus, my peers wouldn't be able to berate for me cutting my losses and taking £20! :P

ok lets start you off on addams family, this was a poor crest machine in my eyes, yes it streaked, but it often cost alot for codes and wasnt generally worth the bother.ma71lda wrote:Addams Famly - Great m/c, top ten fave m/c and I'd like to see this get the £35 treatment (or ToT)

TAW was a great machine, similar to cheese, easy jp rip and chance of the streak.
axe etc. were for good players hence how you probably didnt rate them, if you realised how to play them properly ie. bank them (bet you didnt do the empty on 15) then you realised they were good on 25 too
PCB was a good machine, often rolled, could knock back the skill stop bonus a few times to make it big roll..
honestly mate if you're going to talk about old machines u need to know what ur on about... clearly you don't!
Clearly I don't know as much as alot of people, especially you. I've said it before, I don't know anyone who plays machines nor do I know any engineers or people in the trade. Whatever I have learned and money I have made I have done so with no help from others and up until recently I've done rather well.
Maybe I have played a wee bit differently to most on here, but if I want to put £2 in a m/c win £10 and walk then I will, we don't all have to get involved in £150 battles to make £12 profit, likewise if I want to cut my losses then I will, why would I want to chase £6 just to risk losing a further £100 for Dunhamzzz to try winning?

Yeah battleaxe was/is ok, hardly amazing though is it. You'd hardly ever end up with huge winnings, though with some proper knowledgeable play on one ready enough you could nearly always return a chunk of profit. Seems light years ago when these were all about, long since confined to arcades and the seaside!
"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
If anyone thinks that by knocking back twenty jp boards then it's going to give five or six jackpots I think they will be in for a nasty surprise. I very much doubt if the programming allows for more than two repeats plus one other for a max of £140. Am prepared to be proven wrong, though.
Come on you Royals
