I was spurred on by blind rage at the time, it makes me laugh to think about it now, i'll mention it to the old man when i see him, i'm sure he'll remember it :)

Actually story I've been meaning to post for a while, me saying I've never tooled cheated etc reminded me of this and then your story on TGE.

Anyhow, long time ago. Night out. Me and a mate decided to try our luck on the machines. Spartacash next to Each Way Nudger (latest Barcrest incarnation). Spartacash full, playing nice, when it cuts out mid feature. Irritated I gave it a shake and realised the front wasn't locked. Quite deep at the bar, had only put a couple of quid in, would the dolly birds behind the bar be able to fix it? Feck it. So I sacked the money off and got bored watching my mate on Each Way Nudger. So I start messing about opening up the front, think I pissed about in test for a while - look jackpot....AGAIN! Mate (non fruityish) loses his £15 or whatever and ask me where the hopper is on The Spartacash. I tell him and before I know it he is fishing into the hopper for extra coins.

Then a barman comes around the corner and I was going to do this story on an 'pubs on top these days thread'. Just think, you can get barred for putting in £80 and winning £70, however we didn't get barred, no he just noncholantly said "lads you know you're not meant to break into the machines don't you?"

True story. Didn't even get barred, beaten or warned.

I think he was just incredibly laid back, I'm only 6'17" on stilts/cuban heels and I wasn't wearing either at the time.

CCuuucha cuuu (camera noise)

thanx for the info... i know nothing about machines, i see you guys all talking about stuff i know nothing about, where can i learn everything i need to know about them because i would rather have the know how on how to fix anything that go's wrong with it than pay some person to fix somthing for all i know could be in working order... i have some idea of how they are run but dont have great knowlage a bit of advise b4 i buy my first machine would be good..

i see on ebay machines beeing solde for £75 quid and the guy says if you buy two you get both shipped for the same shipping price.. so if i was to by one and 75+100 =175, when i could buy 2 for £250 it seems like a bargin if you ask me, most places i've been the cheapest they have is 175 or 250 and they arent that great of machines!...

I had a pcb once, gave me dad the key to see how much i could save. One day i did me swede in it, had to buy a pack of chuddy from me local shop and get all pound coins change, did my bus fare to town in it too. Felt like putting my fist through it at the end.
