S16 machines currently giving the option of £2 play, £500 j/p will be changing. They will still be random, eg Slotto's, but will have the option of jackpot related prizes. For example - You can play £1.50 a spin and win £300, you can play 50p a spin and win £150. I am not saying these examples are correct but this is what is happening. The jackpots will range from £100, £200, £300, £400 and £500 using the multistake option.
Another slightly-interesting reply to a posting from Playersheaven.com today:

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but do I spy with my little eye ... a £35 Lucky Strike in amongst that lot?www.playersheaven.com/revelations wrote:July 18, 2007, 12:15 pm

New Cat D games are - Rainbow Riches, Elvis Smash Hits, Elvis 9 - Liner, Cashino, Monty Python, Lucky Strike, Rocky Balbonus, World Poker Tour Jackpot Joker (10p stake, £5 Jackpot)
The Players Heaven Team

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
all the S16s will be limited to £1 a spin, but still £500 JP, only 4 per site, but no longer random, will be running set programs like a normal machine.
most of the S16s will convert down to £35jp (bell fruit, astra, barcrest ect) but some reflex ones ie vegas/fortune 500 will be scrap.
the manufactures are starting to send out convertion kits all ready
