Your name and number are stored in a payout list they cross reference this list in future claims! I've had 1 IOU from them with one number next IOU I used a new number for the claim and they asked me why I wasn't using my previous number

According to them there perfectly within the rights to store data on an individual

That makes a lot of sense, just yesterday i left a false name because a certain Gamestec tosser knows my name, if they've saved my number then doubt i'll get paid. I don't know why he gets so wound up, he's paid to fix the things and nothing more, prick!!!

Scandalous, innit.

I wouldn't mind too much but my first claim was when the CCP at Clapham Junction ran empty, they sent my £14 cheque straight away.

Next claim - totally legitimate - was from that rare £35/£35/£105 sequence on JJ Gold (125 hopper) and that left me more like £40 out of pocket. Letter predictably arrived saying engineer found nothing wrong with the machine and no payout.

Bastards.

I'd go with what people are saying, never had any real problems with suppliers then gamestec suddenly stopped paying out after a few claims close together. Their party trick seems to be telling the pub the claim is under investigation despite the collector leaving the wee docket with the pub.

My best claim was from the digger in camb services, some knob had broken the nudge button so wrote out a claim form, stated that i'd got enough nudges for jackpot and couldnt collect it,two weeks later a cheque for 70 smackers from namco, didnt expect to get it.

Don't most machines show an IOU ammount on the display?

Can't you just take a picture of that and use it to back up your claim?

I think Claremont have upped their game a bit in recent times tho.

Most of their SH's are now chipped and a lot of their aliens/Leo's are now P4.

But they dont seem to have many 'new' machines en mass.

No probs getting iou's from them tho.

Fuckwit tec are cunts full stop.

Sceptre are a mixed bag, u never know what u could walk into program wise.

Chilvers are cunts, their megas are sick. Bad %ages but their perfects seem sweet.

I find many are guilty of bad floats.

Before 35s capital coin were good, everything was unchipped. Then for some reason they starting chipping everything and to do this day are still ontop of things. Claremont are always good and have been for a while. Alexandra leisure always have bulbs missing or errors but alot of their stuff I find is unchipped.

The worst for me is gamestec or sceptre. Getting IOUs back is a nightmare! Once took me 6 weeks to get back a £34 IOU, which isn't too bad but you do expect it back in the next refill/float day or whatever.
