Vivid also got taken over, and while no more original machines were released under the Vivid name, several Extreme machines were released that I considered to be original games - including Manic Muncher, Doctors & Nurses and its clone Most Daunting. And they were made by ex-Vivid staff. That's why Vivid are (or were) my favourite fruit manu, for game originality. Back to the Features, Pie Factory 2, Connect 4, Honey Money and their numerous games with the deck of cards concept. The only Vivid game I don't think is that original is Cliffhanger because it's similar to Bell Fruit's Easystreak. I don't know which came out first though.

Best vivid machine was 'Atlantis' think that's what it was called anyway, used to say 'it is your destiny' when you were getting a board, boss. First experience of a gotw as well, shit out though and collected on £24.20 haha.

Their 1st game is already out there on test I'm told? £10 mega spin golden game in selected Coral shops. Not seen one, could be word of mouth?

Atlantis wasnt bad. Was a JPable feature at the top but wonder if it was a rip or only offered when ready.

Yeah Liverpool24, it was called Atlantis. I never saw that machine but I played its identical twin "Bottle Bank".

Maybe I ought to start a Vivid thread for those who liked Vivids?

I think Vivid were quite popular in the era just before Atlantis and Bottle Bank! Hypnotic was another of the later ones that was worth it, I think the feature was "sixth sense?" - someone with a better memory than me will know...

i hated bottle bank, probs coz i never knew how to play it lol.
but i do remember one good time when i put about £2 in from beer change and got a board, i took a shit feature similar to stop and step where all the reels lined up and it spun as fast as fuck, i mean it really was just a blur and i just hit the button expecting £1 and it stopped on jp :) i dont know if its a skill feature or if the machine needed to pay out but it didnt rpt and i dont think i had the option to step?
if it was a skill feature it would be too hard to do its more of a luck feature, or just needed to pay ofcourse :)

Theres a top row feature where it steps down 8 positions, you need one of the 7s below the orange with a symbol I think for JP. Blocks this one at annoying times tho
