A few more corkers:

- Deal or No Deal reckons that Karaoke was invented in Stockport

- The Big Match thinks Italy (not Brazil) won the World Cup in 1970

and a classic from New Millionaire:

- Which of these was not in the Two Ronnies - Barker, Corbett, Biggs or O'Sullivan? They want Biggs, which is no consolation when the equally correct answer O'Sullivan costs you £6...

If you had picked Biggs, no doubt it would have wanted O'Sullivan as the correct answer!

Had the Hans Geiger one again today ie what nationality - its a bullseye question:-

a. french
b. german
c. german
d. swiss (or wherever)

The order is different from ernests post from ages ago, and the german it wants is c.

It took a reveal answer to get that...

DoND this evening:

Which of these countries is made up of 52 states?

Russia
USA
South Africa

I vaguely remember seeing a similar question where the answer was Russia but this machine insisted the answer was USA.

This was very quickly followed by:

Which of these kings had eight wives?

Henry VIII
Harry VIII
Horace VIII

And another from the files of Wank or Not Wank:

Which country is separated from England by the Cheviot Hills?

Ireland
Scotland
Wales

Fist punching, screen smacking, beard twatting, machine kicking all occurred as Noel said 'No you're wrong there', when I pressed Scotland, because it wants Wales.

'No, you're wrong there'

No I fucking wasn't you question writing fuckwits

I'm sure some of these question writers are 'on' something! Although for 'non-regulars' it does make 'em chuckle when they see a stupidly ridiculous question like that last one...

:)
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

A rare occurrence yesterday as I came across a incorrect one on Pub Quiz (usually excellent for accuracy and spellings)

Which of these insects is sometimes found in a bottle of tequila?

Beetle
Fly
Worm

Worm is the answer (even though it isn't an insect)

A favourite of Bullseye is to give you a question like "What's the odd word out", where there are 3 wrong answers and 1 right one.

Unfortunately, on your first few questions, you only get a choice of 2, so you inevitably end up with questions like

Which city is the odd one out?

A: London
B: New York
