One of my colleagues at work is banned from driving for two years, he was in a high speed police chase, was drunk and was arrested. He still drives to work in his car and work treat it as no problem, its invalidated all MOT, licence, permits the lot. Oh did i mention he still drives and no one has caught him, its been about 2/3 months. Oh and he has 3 disciplinaries one for playing the fruit machine while he was working.

He is an idiot. The main point is he still drives and the police/law have not caught him, hope he hits no cars in the car park or when hes driving.

Out here in the village drink driving is seen as normal by a frightening number of people - I am often seen as a bit odd for leaving the van at the pub after a couple of pints!

To be honest, the fact I've been banned & the fact that I'll get 3 years ban if I do it again, HAS quite frankly, rehabilitated me.

I am usually sensible. As a pro, I tried to keep to the (so called) limit.
I had fallen out with the g/f at the time, and can make your reactions/decision making pretty unstable.

depends how much 2-3 pints over an hour or two in my eyes is sound, still over the limit if you gat collard so hard luck, anymore than 5 pints is taking the piss tho.
