I went last year, not a lot of playable machines to be honest, and all set at 70% payout, you'll cover your beer money, most machines are £5 jackpots

As I'm 33 years old, I haven't had the chance to be regularly aquainted to £5 Jackpots, but for someone that probably grew up around seaside arcades, well, you'll probably do far better on £5 JPs than me.

Best money to be had on the barcrests i find. Can't rely on reds as they cost a tenner for a board half the time! :x SRM etc are there for pot nearly every board. Hypers good, extremes good etc....plenty to be made.

butlins are on about 74-76 percent maybe less now ,link run these sites under the name leisure projects and split the take with butlins 55/45 in butlins favour. it's easy to win because the captive audience are filling stuff up all day long. the machines are generally poorly mantained with shit loads of bulbs out(specially the 5 pounders) and are usually filthy.
they have loads of shit ex link sited machines that have been turned into 5 pounders including lots of reds that take too much for a board as matt b stated .there are still some little beauties about though ,if you have a proper look about .
