That Fireball in Gordano was always good.
Anyways, I think LL did have a chip for Fireball, but it was very rare. Nearly all of them would go, but there were a few D'nPesque ones about. I know the SP, I know it wasn't going up because it couldn't, it wasn't going up because it wouldn't. Rare, Corley services had this chip in towards the very end of Fireball being there.

I'm sure there was more to it than that? I'm certain that you had to do something on the board? buzz it up or something, i used to do these but can't for the life of me remember the method, i do indeed remember hi-lo'ing up cash trail... Can't remember which one though as there are 2 ?anfield road wrote:yeah the empty involving sending the % to like 10000000, just gamble all wins to Jackpot along the bottom!
The reason i ask is because i have just bought one on £25/25p
Any help hugely appreciated

(i don't believe this to be sensitive lol)

in attract on the pies and clones if it said CASH in the top lcd whilst in ATTRACT mode it was chipped.. if it was clear then you could do the method...
rat pack had an empty trick on it that involved gambling to a top feature on the board and sacking it off... then all the wins went to the pot... difficult and very costly to perform plus it was one of the first to get a note CHANGER and there was a rip on that too, not so legal though
cliff hanger DID NOT get chipped.. it works on ANY glass/chip/%age/jp/stake of both reel a win and cliff hanger...
if at any point any vivid steps an extra position on the cash ladder gamble, then its chipped take whatever you can and leave it.
any middle ish vivid, hypnotic infinity rat pack etc etc
push all out for the jackpot, easyest way just hi lo wins, and hope for a repeat
hypnotic had a quick jp steal, from the feature that steps the reels, but you needed to play for a certain setup

So maybe you havent played one chipped but there is a chip for it.
N.b. Scotch corner services about 7 years ago have a Cliffhanger which i played a fair bit..... untill it got chipped.
It would go red and you could knock it back and climb out the pot, but the red board just wouldnt return.
On a chipped reel a win it played differently. It wouldnt climb up the cash ladder AFTER knocking back the red board. There is/was a chipped Reel a win in Treasure island, just off central station.Glasgow last time i was in.

I played a 25(jac)cliff-hanger in Blackpool 4 years ago and it was chipped as no red board came after the jac off cash side.... In chipped Pie, the number pauses when u gamble up the cash ladder so it's easy to spot out but the Cliff didn't give any sign.

Most chipped Vivids very quickly dissapeared off site for very obvious reasons, any casual player had by this post lost any faith whatsoever in any Vivids and any " player " wouldnt really wanna touch a chipped rom would they.
