What it feels like to be average Jo....

Post by Alpine021 »

Hey have thought this a few times.

Basically I've got only a few decent machines in my locals so a lot of time when I'm out with mates I'll just have a few quid here and there coz I can't really help myself.

Anyway even though I've still got a slight advantage over slotters i.e. can tell when a machine is dead - know which features are decent / crap etc... I still seem to lose quite a lot and it's pissin me off!

Like nippin on a few DOND's - £10 board for £3 back, then nippin on a few shitty bell fruits and again - losing bits n bobs.

Before I know it I've lost about £40!!!

So I feel really sorry for people who for example hit reds after us. Coz I was pretty fucking livid that I'd made about £100 on not too bad a day only to go and lose £40 just trying to have a normal bit of fun on a few machines whilst having a beer.

I really don't know how companies like bell fruit have the fucking cheek to let u pay like £12 for a board to be offered nothing.

I'm starting to think that actual gamblers r the only people that make ANY profit on machines and that ur average bloke loses every single time.

I'm suprised we r not getting hassle of locals that always lose and see us pretty much always win.....

I was in a strip bar called the Grffin

The girl wanted a quid

luckily, the X-rated did a big top and tenners after

Pressure was off, but she would of/did hound me for the quid

I think the only people who really profit from machines (other than owners) are the people who live in the pub from day to day, making their 2 pints last 10 hours. They are the ones who just try the occasional couple of quid and probably steal 15 pound nearest wins, 20 pound cash or busts, e.t.c.
