I think this is a machine by 'Vivid'? I only saw one once, and didn't play it, but have heard it mentioned elsewhere.

Does the 'Vivid' method work on this one, or did it miss the boat? :)

The Vivid method does not work on these, there was an empty on it but it involved putting lots in and you hardly made much if they were a £125, and it will probably be chipped now anyway, look out for it going red for an easy jp, and thats about it, just play it for boards really and you can make £5-10 on it if its not dead, some of the lower features aint bad, still got on of these (well devil of a deal which is a clone) and i always try a few boards and make a few quid.

I think that if it's like Card Shark / DOAD, then feature 4 and 5 are pretty good, and they're also indicative of how it's playing. If you get 'a continuous shower' of cards, then it's playing a lot better than if you get the 'group' which only offers £2/£3 I think.

Again, I'm basing this on clones, and not the actual machine, remember... ;)

Yeah, feature 4 was £5-£6 when it was in the mood. Even feature 3 (reel match) is a fiver when its playing well. It generally hi/los with most numbers when its ready, so test it out and if it goes up to a fiver you can chase it.....just hope for the pot repeat. That's about it really!

Compared to what is available at the momment, id say its a very poor machine. The emptier was a good one though and I dare say you could find one unchipped but it could cost you £30 to find out.

Any chance of PM'ing me the method/emptier for this? I know where there is one that's been there donkeys - might be worth a shot.

Play it to get it red, sack it off or take a small win, get a win and hi-lo up the cash trail, next board the red comes back.

6 shooter with cash showing top left = chipped
pie factory you could tell by the music it played on the feature if it was chipped or not
giant gems not sure how to tell if its chipped
same with cliff hanger/reel a win, don't think these ever got chipped but could be wrong.

i'm sure if the next machine is an old vivid someone will explain in lengthy detail what to do, its no longer sensitive, i'll even explain a bit better if you get one of the above

6 shooter, giant gems, pie factory - when you get a board if it flashes a win in the cash pot at the top then its a worker!!!!

cliffhangers were never chipped!
Fireballs were never chipped lol!

Fireball must have been about the last decent machine from Barcrest. Absolute shite ever since.
