cluedo super sleuth
Ok, I am right in thinking there were at least two different versions am I?
In my mind you had the version that could streak, but would never start over £2 on cash ladder, then the ones (maybe this was £15 only?) which could start at crazy amounts like £8. Lovely. Get board and SOWOOSH! Big fat Revolver/£8 etc start.
I'll try and d/l this some time. It's an umptier I don't remember, but would have been massive.

If fight night started on £2.40 or above then it was rolling and the barcode would go jp by hitting the exchange button, if it started on £2 then it would give revolver for the fight night symbol on the middle reel where i would take win series, i think thats right (it been a few years)
Cash is king was rolling to if it started on £2.40 or above i believe as well. gotta love the old maygays, still a superpots on the fair when it comes to leicester, a bit on top though

Cobwebs
I used to love the old Maygays.
Back in the day, mobile phones were still gaining in popularity. Actually no, when Fight Night *first* came out, mobile phones were a distinct rarity. If you pulled one out you'd get girls swarming all over you.
Also the 'Internet' scene was basically the CMA, Daz watts, The Fruit Digest and UKFMP which I believe had been a 'bulletin board' before the Internet was really what it is today.
Fact is, things held value for longer. Just knowing about barcodes was a huge help on these Maygays. It was all about a couple of quick follow mes, a peep up the tubes and the chance to catch a streak. Safe as houses and no SLottos in site.
I remember the era fondly, it was when things started to turn around for the better. £10 cash. Nice.

U dont take the pot from the red board, just sack-it at £4 (like simpsons)JG wrote:Martin, I gave this a go last night on the emulator. I downloaded FIGHT NIGHT ROMs + Dx though as I couldn't find the Cleudo Super Sleuth ROMS. I'm aware that FN is slightly different (barcode) but I couldn't get this to work.
Did you ever do the £10 Cleudo in Time Out when it was there?
So take the jackpot from red, get a fruit win (hopefully no feature roll in) and it'll be a SJ board?
and then play for win exchanges, this didn't work on fight night....
As for the Time-Out cluedo.... Yeah, i do remember it, it had its back to
the change counter if i remember correctly but it was chipped
when i tried it......
:x
