A bit sheepish from me this week, had a few losses recently so i'm toning it down a bit. A couple of accas, a hit the bar & millionaire, plus a fiver treble on:
Reading
Southampton
Gillingham
....which returns £44 if it comes in. A very risky set of 3 to pick, but what the hell.
Good luck all!

Not quite. It wasn't so long ago that bookies would not take singles on football bets. They had a "minimum trebles" rule. Small independent bookies often wouldn't take more than four draws either because of the potential large liability.
Last time a Liverpool player scored a PL goal from open play v United , 9th Nov. 2003 at Anfield. - 4.5 YEARS AGO.
Last time a Liverpool player scored a PL goal from open play at Old Trafford , 22nd January 2002 - OVER 6 YEARS AGO.
Surely that run can't go on any longer can it?
Chuck in Rafa's appalling PL record v SIR ALEX (P7 L6 D1) and it's almost as if the Old Trafford club are a bit of a bogey team for the Red men from Liverpool.
After some checking I discovered that this is not a new phenomona, in the 80's when Liverpool did have a genuinely great team the faced Manchester United a total of 26 times in all competitions, winning ONLY 4 times and losing 11.
When they were European Champions and we were sh*te - we beat them
When we were European Champions and they were sh*te - we beat them.
When they play well - we beat them.
When the match is fairly even - we beat them.
When we are down to 10 men and 3-1 down - we get a draw.
When they are winning with 5 minutes to go, we beat them.
When we can stop them doing the treble - we beat them(with a deflected goal)
When they can stop us doing the treble - we beat them.
They've had goalies scoring own goals, Mr 'dependable' Carra scoring own goals, players like O'Shea, Forlan and Russell Beardsmore!!! scoring against them, Sivestre and Pallister notching doubles against them.
It's no wonder there's so much bitterness eminates from down that end of the East Lancs Rd towards MANCHESTER UNITED.
They couldn't beat us when we were sh1t, they couldn't even pull as many fans as us when we were sh1t and they were winning everything.
The question is.
IF UNITED WIN AGAIN TOMORROW, DO WE GET TO KEEP THEM?
