Heh, I've met him before 'and had dinner' at a works 'do'. He opened a new Adult Learning Disabilities 'suite' at my place of employment. Bless This House was his best output, although 15-1 always, for some reason, reminds me of having meals that were overflowing with gravy at my Nans, as a kid, after school... ... ... :)

I did, twice, although with no great success on either occasion, it must be said. I also met him about six months prior to the second Fifteen to One attempt, when he came to speak at my university and I had to walk round town with him for a while and make smalltalk. Did he recognise me from that when I appeared on FTO? Did he f**k! I've never thought very much of him on any of our three meetings, I must say (let's hope he isn't a member of this forum). Amused to hear of him playing an SWP though.

Particularly in either of the bars at London Bridge- particularly grim and cliquey in my experience

I'm a member of the "Been on 15-1" club.

About 1994/5 can't remember exactly. I was the last player left with 3 lives and then lost them in about 60 seconds as the previous winner kept renominating me. Ended up being the 10th person eliminated so a brave attempt but no glory!

good idea for the weakest link a show featuring irritating gameshow presenters and non- entities such as William G Stewart / Jimmy Tarbuck / Les Dennis / Jasper Carrot / Ant & Dec (ho ho they are soooo funny!). Whether any of these is a non-entity is up to your own definition- and as William G Stewart could possibly sue over the late delivery of a milk bottle I am not suggesting that this colossus of game shows could in anyway be described as an non-entity. Id like to see WGS VOTED off first and then has it out with Anne Robinson in the style of the pro-celebrity fight in Happy Gilmore with the Ms Robinson coming out on top!

As well as telling us not to put our elbows on the table or to put knives in our mouth, I'm sure our grandmothers told us not to post on Fruitchat when drunk...
