what game is that mate?
i think its a disgrace nowadays that they still rob you £30+ for a game and STILL dont even have the real names of players or official kits/tournaments :(

Hey, you spend two million quid over two years development and still have enough left to pay for the EWCB's endorsement! ;)

700 from 37 overs is brilliant.
I'm guessing you cheated in some way :? :

Nice one MJD. I was fortunate enough to have been at the Bombay test in March which of course we won (famously) but I'd far rather it'd been by an innings and 684!

Nothing like using the 'Circle Button' (or in X Box terms I think its the B button 'red') to Launch some into the stands!

Funny also when playing This, Freddy Flantiff comes in and hits a 50 after just 14 minutes!

Not really relevant, but how shit is it without cricket on channel 4, the one hour of channel 5 highlights a a stupid time just doesn't do it for me :(

agreed, channel 5 is a fuckin joke..never watch it..

luckily we have NTL so can watch it on sky sports..

channel four was pretty decent..i good effort..

i was sad to see it go from BBC two but C4 really made the game interesting and worth watching.

channel 5 can just go to hell..

shitness :P

I agree, C4 was brilliant last summer for the cricket. Shame those bastards at Sky have more money. :(

It's not Sky's fault, as Channel 4 had already said it wasn't planning to renew its live rights when the rights package went up for grabs. It was well-documented that C4 execs had agreed they get as many viewers tuning in for a re-run of an old black'n'white film as they do the cricket, but without the expense of setting up an outside broadcast. It's the chairman of the ECB that agreed it was OK to remove live coverage from terrestrial channels that has some answering to do.

Sky's coverage is excellent but lacks a Richie Benaud in its ranks. C4, I agree, did a fab job in making the game appeal to absolutely everyone and it's a crying shame it's not something the kids are gonna stumble across when they channel-hop.

Fab reverse-sweep for six by KP today! :)

I thought cricket was supposed to be protected so everyone can watch it. Fucking sky....we cant even get in on the houses where I live either, not that I would buy it. I guess its going to have to be another summer of henry blowfeld on long wave radio. I swear he spends more time taking about the pigeons than he does comentating about the game.
