oche oche oche
I played one tonight. Few quid with a few mates. Didn't seem much cop. Seemed to be giving boards fairly regularly, though not offering much. Recycled a £6 cashpot and it chucked in a £15 Nearest Win out of nowhere. Took the £15 and played an OAR.
Doesn't seem the worst machine though, although killing on the first gamble on a good number is a bit shit, as is killing you on the £1-£1.20 gamble.
On that note £1 - £1.20 - £1.60 - £2 is a bit ridiculous these days!

First go today - note changer was not lit..
Anyway - first 20 quid in.. 5 quid block had about 3 boards. Another 20 in - boards still not going about 5 quid.. Another 40 in start to get better - 6-10 on offers.. Another 30 later mega streak for a huge ... 40 quid.... Next board - dead (3 quid), board after dead, board after offered 15.40 on darts before killing me. 2 boards later did the same - this time i collected - which repeated, £31 quid ! Came off with 60 - 50 down...
Rules dictate i shouldnt have played as machine was technicallly dead to start - but its speculate to accumilate + i wanted to see what the profile was like..
Game play wasnt exactly exciting.. has red 'no' loose numbers which is different. Will wait until its ready next time...
Dont fancy pumping 200 in and buzzing it up to find it'll pay a flat 35 !!

Oh dear this machine is gash. Full from the off and cost £70 for a flat £35 MS. Next board offered £15 from golden hold & Cashpot but went for MS, died & then gave dead boards for £20 before the £15 came back.
Just like OTB on the hi/lo's, Killing on good numbers for no reason then when it's starting to go it just gives loads of red numbers. Even nudges seem harsh, several times I needed 2 nudges for a number & it only gave 1. Also board costs can be almost £10 so a quick steal is gonna be risky.

Apparently this indispensible nugget of information is worthy of being labelled a 'Supertip' by PlayersHeaven:
I saw one in the wild the other day, for the first time: £60 in for £60 out. And it was really boring. The gambles were unreliable, the top board only really needed about 6 or 7 spins to have £35 on the cash meter - the problem being that it would constantly lose the gamble to award more throws even on good numbers.
I was pretty happy to leave with no loss, to be honest. Not great.
How I wish I'd realised that whilst playing for the last umpteen years ...playersheaven.co.uk wrote:Use your nudges carefully. Sometimes the Step to Nearest or Golden Hold feature offer highs wins or even Jackpot!

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
