Arcade Industry Shows

Approx 7 years ago my brother in law had a failed attempt to open up an arcade in our local town and during this time we attended some trade shows down in the Wembley area just off the a406 north circular which consisted of all the new and latest machines. Im sure they used to advertise in coin slot international which was a free 4 or 8 page paper inside of "the worlds fair" but im sure they now have an expensive to subscribe website. Does anybody know if these "shows" still go on and if so are there any links to them? Or any similar trade fairs between the midland and London areas.

There is a Blackpool show in May go to Clarion Exhibitions also there is a Park Ave open day in Brent every June, which is the one you mention. A lot of companies exhibit there.

I shall certainly book in for the atei next year. Im not sure why quizard says i have got 11 months and 3 weeks to wait, is there any reason he said that? Is he some kind of wind up saddo because i really do understand why he would post that but i suppose the internet are full of idiots like that but thanks to dunhamzzz for his input and definately borg as yes that is the right one down in Brent. Do you have a link to any of the people that show there so i can get a trade pass for the day as i wouldnt know where to start and im not sure where my b-i-l got them from last time. Many thanks.

Borg, I checked the Clarion site and there is no mention of the Blackpool show. Are you sure they are the ones who stage it?

Read my post again and see that i thanked 2 people and slated the other one for being an idiot. I didnt see the 2 people i thanked telling me to take a hike, did you? So i wonder why that was? Maybe because they helped and got thanked and you acted an idiot and got called an idiot. IDIOT.

I really hope you've simply mis-read the response you got to your original question and that you aren't a full-time eejit.

Fact: The ATEI was last week and you've a full 11 months and (now) 2-and-a-bit weeks to wait for the next one.

You asked for info on exhibitions. I told you when the next ATEI exhibition was and gave you the address of the website where you get info and apply for accreditation?? If you find that somehow upsetting you probably need services of a psychiatrist rather than a fruit machine supplier.

There is nothing more a waste of time than a slanging match on an Internet message board with some troll who is trying to provoke a row. I will leave others to judge your motives and whether they want to talk to you but I will simply ignore you future. Does the 91 in your name indicate you are 16/17 years old? That would explain a lot.

You knew what you meant in your post and you were trying to gloat that i had missed it. Saddo is probably the right word, sorry for calling you an idiot, internet saddo. Lets leave it at that, you know what you did and you ahve been slated for it, take it on the chin and dont be so smug in future, its saddos like you that give internet forums a bad name and ruin it for those who really want to use it to gain information not try and look clever....and failing badly.
