Fast cash

I know this might sound a tad odd...

I'm as good as most people with skill continues, skill stops, everything like that, i have no problems with judgement or skill features on machines. But with fast cash on JJC/GBC etc i honestly have no idea at all it seems, and it's not like i havn't had the practice, i just keep fucking up constantly, and it's annoying me to the point where i'm prepared to look like a total tard on here and ask.

My tactics are either waiting till it's high up, and then pressing it, which by then it's already down to the £2 mark, so i try pressing it as it's on it's way up, and it just comes back down. So i try pressing in anticipation that it'll go up, and, well, it doesn't, and it's a bugger as it makes these machines not worth playing.

So how do you seem to be able to always hit £5+... but i'm genuinely at a loss to how it's possible, and i'm hoping one of you can enlighten me on how it's done.

I have the same problem. Can sometimes get good things but often get the bad.

I remember wildside (global) 'move it on up' feature went right to £25 and I pressed it bang on! went down to £4......

I generally fix my eyes on £12 and with a bit of anticipation and quick fingerness bash it when it's around there. I go through phases of being really shit but there was a time when I could hit £8 and above all day long. My best is £20. It sometimes helps to squat down so you're looking up at the cash ladder if you don't mind looking like a bit of a chump in the pub/arcade.

It does help if the machine is off its nuts as it will go upto the higher amounts more often and thus giving you more chance to hit something good.

I find that it will go high in 2 bursts
It will hang around the lower amounts then shoot up and usually up again

Skill Cash Depends On What Machine Its On.......Some Jump From A Tenner Down To 2 Or Sometimes A Quid, But Some Machines Are Actually Skill, Best Thing To Do Is Either Hit It Quick On Its First Time Up...Or Keep You Eye On The Jackpot...And When Its On The Way Up (Instincts Good Here) Hit It...... Depending On How Much You Play The Machine You Get used To It...I Remember Hot Dog On King Kebab...Used To Always Give A High Amount, And If It Was On Mega It Was An Quick And Easy 25 Quid If Your In A Rush...

Purely instinct really. I'm fairly good at hitting them, but get a lot of practice. I find there can be times when its just tight anyway, and never goes above £10. On those your lucky to get £6 half the time. I have hit £20 twice, and numerous £12/£15s.....just practice really.

Just an observation - what's with all the capitals Slizzell?

Anyway, anyone remember 'Up Pompei' on Caesars Palace? Super went right up to the JP first time, but on normal, if it really didn't want to pay, you could stop it on JP, and watch it move all the way back down to £2. Way after you'd let go of the button too... Shabby JPM design...

Never really tried Fast Cash on those types / clones, but would agree that with any skill feature of this nature, look around the top third of the trail and hit it the instant you see a light appear there...

if you type in captials the board does it automatically I think.

as for fast cash, I tend to hit it as its going up past the £6/8 mark, hopefully it'll continue going up and ill hit £12+, if not around £5/6

Guess thers an element of luck in it. 12,6,10 I hit today!

Playing an old JJC yesterday, when Mr. munter walked over to me just after i'd hit an £8 fast cash. He said 'Good shot mate, but i hit mega streak off red fast cash yesterday. First go i hit £20, then MS on the second go. You should have let me do it for you'

It's always funny when you hear someone schpeeling something which is just obviously bow-locks!! I just humuor 'em most of the time. Sometimes like being a bit more cheeky though...

...Almost every time I play a machine in a certain pub near me, the same guy goes says 'Had £75 out of each of those a minute ago mate.' 'Right,' I think. Put a pound in one, straight down the back, all the good signs etc.

It happens almost every week without fail, but all I ever see him play is a Hot Shot on hot game, and collects whatever he gets without exchanging to the board! Sounds like a right 'pro' lol!!

Also when someone says they got £75+ 'last Tuesday' (from JP repeats) out of a machine that 'never' does that - such as a Vamp etc...

Sorry to sound like Cardinal Cynic, but you said yourself that you've hit £20 on fast cash. Surely if you had it red then MS would be easily achievable?

Your probably right to be cycnical Rich....but:

a) I'm fairly certain it's blocked at £20
b) Believe it or not, red fast cash is probably harder to do well out of than the normal one! I'm sure someone will back me up on that one.
