I could be well off the mark, but was it ATB - 9pm (til I come)?

Nope it was Grooverider and.....hold on, I'll have to load up YouTube. Actually before I do that it was something like Armada Groovewotsit - one second.

Ok, I'm back, I've not found the song yet, 'cos I wasn't looking for it. Instead I got sidetracked with lots of interesting Kung Fu videos. One of 'em showed you how to lock a friend to a slippery pole or tree with no restraints such as locks, ropes etc

WARNING: This can lead to death if the victim gets cramp and falls back. Scary stuff. You need someone or a hold to hoik up the victim.

Ok, the groups name is Groove Armada. what was I on about? Grooverider? I don't know. One moment please. I'll find that tune on Beaver Uncovered. It wasn't ATB for sure. One moment. Please hold the line.

Wooooah! I'm way off the mark. It's a Sophie Ellis Bexter song remixed. Why does it feel so good? Spiller - Groovejet (if this ain't love)

So Methods, result, discussion.

Conclusion.

The sample used on the feature board/beaver Uncovered is Spiller - Groovejet (if this ain't love).

Or is it? I've got a suspiscion this may just be on the nudge music. Maybe even just the nudge gamble. Which begs the question what was used on nudges and the feature? For Pete's sake Matt why did you have to hijack a perfectly good Coronation Street music/sfx discussion with a Beaver question?

There used to be one in LFE services about three years ago. Actually, maybe, errr, perhaps, y'know, maybe, that ATB answer might be right. Damn, just loaded it up. That's the hook! So let's knock this Beaver on the head.

Nudges: Spiller - Groove jet
Feature: ATB - 9pm ('til I come).

Which only leaves us wondering if there was a difference between nudges and nudge gamble. I'm going to say no there wasn't. So that's that. Back to Coronation Street now.

It's a lovely story, but not the song i'm after

Maybe no-one will get it, you have to know your dance music to know the track. Here it is:

I've heard that tune many times but never new the name nor artist. Do you know factually that that is the main feature music? I have a feeling it probably was, but I also think the ATB tune kicked in when you got 3 beavers and I think the Spiller music may have been for nudges or gamble nudges.

All three sound pretty similar when naked (vocal-less) and I like to think I know my dance music pre 2002.

Damn you Mattb, I'm gonna have to find a Beaver Uncovered from somewhere. :D Anyone know of one in the Manchester area. :P

Btw George or should I say Streaky, I remember a Rovers Return (there are so many Corrie m/c's so I could be wrong, again) which had The Stone Roses - Fools' Gold music. Possibly on nudges, but just one or two chords of the song looped over and over.

It may not be the main music, i really can't remember. It's definitely on there though. Beaver Las Vegas plays MJ - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough on the main board though

All that fannying about and I messed that one up. Of course you're correct MB.

As for the 'Rovers' It's probably the one with Fred's Meaty Roll. Had a few choice 90s tracks on there. Just called Coronation Street if I remember correctly. Maygay Epoch Elegance cab. Took an age to force. Gameplay was slow. Usually £100 in for £110 back, one of them.

Woah. edit woah - just seen that MJ posting. Nah nah nah. Viva Las Vegas.

Hmm...

All this talk of dance tracks is reminding me of the BWB machine that would play Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins (It's like that, and that's the way it is .... Huhhh!') when it went IM.

Now what was that machine?
